Goodearth Montessori School

We used to love GoodEarth Montessori. It had warmth, community, and teachers who genuinely cared for the kids. But over the past 6 months, that’s changed. Half the teaching staff quietly left, and management never told parents. No goodbyes, no explanations. Some teachers were even told not to inform families they were leaving. These were people our children loved and trusted, and we were completely left in the dark. That alone was heartbreaking. It became clear that teachers were not being properly supported. Many have to post wish lists just to get basic materials and were told to buy Montessori supplies out of pocket. Meanwhile, tuition went up to go toward “wages and classroom needs”. The math just doesn’t add up. An anonymous (due to fear of being treated different by management) email was sent to the owners expressing these concerns and instead of addressing ANY of the issues, their response focused on wanting to directly hear from the sender to “understand these issues clearly” (the email was detailed and directly addressed multiple issues discussed among parents). I fear they thought it was from a disgruntled staff member, even though the email stated it was from a concerned parent. Things might look "fine" on the surface right now. Maybe they've patched things up temporarily. But when ownership and leadership are unwilling to reflect, communicate, or support their staff, it’s only a matter of time before the same issues resurface.

GoodEarth Montessori School has exceeded my expectations with regards to just being a standard daycare institution. This is NOT your regular daycare! My daughter has effectively learned new traits and substantially improved her education here. Not only that but she LOVES the staff and is always happy to go to school on a daily basis. I would recommend GoodEarth not only to Chino Hills residents, but also to all surrounding areas. Thank you for everything and everyone that has had an impact on my daughter's life!

This is an excellent preschool with the right balance of academic and social development. The first time I stepped into this Montessori school I knew it was the school for us. It was so clean, warm and inviting. The staff is very friendly and caring. Our three year old, very outgoing and physically active son attends this school; and we are *very* pleased with the program, his development and his teachers. Each child gets individual as well as group academic lessons in addition to ample play time in a large, beautiful playground. The daily schedule also allows time for singing, dancing and creative/imaginative play which is very important at this young age. Our son has blossomed and grown in ways that we couldn't have imagined, and he absolutely loves his school, teachers and classmates. I would highly recommend GoodEarth Montessori School to any parent looking for a school that will provide peace of mind.

I would recommend GEMS to ANYONE looking for a loving, caring environment where you child can learn and excel with the assistance of the AWESOME staff. Each and every teacher/staff member put so much effort into the curriculum taught, you are going to enjoy seeing your child flourish in academics. Walk in and take a tour, I know you're going to love it as much as we did. Our boys were enrolled at GoodEarth Montessori and both completed Kindergarten at the school with the same staff, which as a lot about the facility!!!
