ELC is a blessing in our community. The teachers are all amazing and a gift to show them the love of Jesus. I enjoy the children singing and praying to Him and how to walk with Jesus. Thank you for all you do!!!
It he teachers there are so caring and watchful as well as teaching God's word....The children seem very happy there and my grandchildren went there a while back and they are now superior students with many awards and honors ...I would surely 8ndorse this wonderful preschool and teachers....a match made in Heaven if I've ever seen one . God's richest blessings
This started off as a great experience then slowly turned into constant reminders. My child only went 2 days for 3 hours (part time). We were initially referred here by a friend of ours due to the teacher. Turns out the original teacher had to leave due to medical. I wish I had nice things to say about the current 2-3 year old teacher. At pick up she is mostly gone in a hurry. However during introduction/tour, it was a warm interaction. Letting the teacher know what soothes my child. But since then, there has been minimal to no contact. Other than asking if my child has any auditory issues which im assuming was due to my toddler not listening. They do not provide any apps like other daycare to know what activities or lesson plan goes through the day. When activities like painting are done, I would know usually when I view my child's folder. At times, I would need to drop off my daughter on Fridays with the 4 year olds and never had an issue. The teacher is amazing. However on the normal days with the 2-3 year old class. My child has came back with the wrong diaper (size & brand), wrong water bottles, woodchips in her diaper, and finally deep cuts on her face. When addressing the physical altercation. I was told it was unprovoked and it happened during the play ground. But they are unsure of the details. The child who caused the physical altercation had previous warnings and suspensions as well that I was unaware of until told by other parents. However, continues to return and also has continued causing physical altercation such as biting. When picking up my child during the day of the altercation, I was given no call. I was told when I picked her up, they wiped the cuts on her face with a baby wipe. My child was sitting at the corner of the table during lunch time alone while all the other children were eating lunch. My daughter is extremely social, so I immediately knew before being told that something went wrong. I was given a paper to sign of the incident but no copy and due to the chaos of lunch (2 teachers, 13-16 kids) along with an appointment I needed to get too. I did not ask for a copy. Since that day of altercation, my child does not want anything near her face for weeks. Including cheek kisses I would give her. She has now slowly accepts cheeks kisses. Due to poor supervision, lack of accountability, no communication with their classroom teacher, I had to pull my child out.
Good Shepherd has been so helpful to us. We recently changed schools, they were helpful, welcoming and warm with a small class size that helped him adjust. I love that they teach the Bible and all about Jesus, my son comes home singing songs. They do outdoor time which is so important at this age. He comes home happy. Also, the nap time they implement is very helpful in keeping a good daily schedule. He’s not cranky or over tired. Good hours, sweet staff and faith believing teachers. We’re very happy here.
We were nervous moving to unfamiliar territory and even more nervous putting our kids in daycare. We couldn't be more thankful to have our children in such an amazing environment. My kids have never cried during drop off and they always have positive things to say at pick up. Both of my kids absolutely love their time at chapel with Pastor Bruce. The teachers love the children and you can tell it when speaking with them. I tell everyone in town how happy we are with our daycare. Thank you ladies for creating such a wonderful place for our kids!
