I recently received care at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, and I am truly grateful for the excellent treatment I received. From the moment I arrived, the doctors were very professional, knowledgeable, and attentive. They took the time to explain my condition and treatment clearly, which made me feel comfortable and reassured. The nurses were absolutely wonderful. They were kind, patient, and always attentive to my needs. They checked on me frequently and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. Their compassion and dedication truly made a difference during my stay. The overall care I received was outstanding. I felt respected, supported, and in very good hands the entire time. I highly recommend this hospital

In April of 2025 I was fortunate enough to be sent to Pulmonary Rehab at Good Samaritain Hospital on Loch Raven Blvd., in Baltimore, MD. I'd been having breathing issues for a few years, from lung cancer and pulmonary embolisms. I was using oxygen almost full-time. At rehab, I got to work with the most amazing staff--especially Christine and Will, the therapists there. I didn't have much hope. But, through their guidance I began to see small improvements. I was sad when my therapy ended. Christine and Will emphasized how important it was to continue with the therapy even after I was done with the program. Improvements continued until I find myself almost completely free of using oxygen to get around. It's amazing to me. I know this wouldn't haven happened without their guidance. I can't say enough about the professionalism and encouragement they exhibited. I saw this with their other patients as well. Thank you!
I had an excellent experience with Good Samaritan Hospital. Particularly with Dr. Swehla. He is very kind and attentive. He will listen to your opinions and take them into consideration instead of dismissing them. He is also very easy to talk to. All around great experience.
