This daycare is the absolute worst!! I had to take both of my children age (2) and age (6) out of their facility due to the negligence with children and them getting sick too often. I had my son age (2) get RSV from going to their daycare. My oldest age (6) was getting bullied by the bigger kids there and when I confronted the staff, they did not care for me or my sons concerns and never disciplined the student or removed him. On top of it all the owner tried to extort me into paying them so they could give me the EIN number so I could file my taxes. Do not go to this daycare they absolutely do not care for the children just money hungry, and evil. If you care about your child’s health and we’ll being please don’t enroll them here.

This was not my first choice for daycare. The only reason my daughter attended this center was because I needed care ASAP and everyone else was full. The staff seems very friendly but they lack the knowledge to care for small children, with the exception of one teacher, who cares for the 4-5 aged children. My daughter was there from 9-5-17 to 11-16-17. At the end of her first week I noticed that she had a runny nose, and yes I know children do get sick, but this came out of nowhere. I informed them that she is probably getting sick and they had the audacity to tell me that kids will get a runny nose and she's in a new environment so she'll probably get sick. Well we ended having to go to the Pediatric ICU because my daughter wasn't breathing well and was there for a week. After that she got sick once a month. She actually got sick her last week there and they waited until the end of the day (4:30pm) to inform me that there was an issue. The facility is not very hygienic. I saw roaches on two separate occasions. The kitchen is very dirty, as well as the toys that the infants played with. They employ staff that are not licensed to care for children, not even a basic CPR license. The infants don't get much freedom to crawl or walk around, there have been many times when I had come in to pick up my daughter and they are strapped in chairs or sitting at the table. Overall it is not a very hygienic environment for children. I caution you to leave your child there for care.

If I could give this daycare a zero I would. They schedule trips that parents pay for but the daycare doesn't take the kids on the field trips and they don't refund the money back as I was told by Yinka. No phone call, email, or in person notification about not taking the kids on the field trip or about what happened to the money paid by parents. My kids were the ones that told me they didn't go on the schedule field trip but instead was taken to a regular playground. The kids are yelled and screamed at and talked to inappropriately. My infant baby constantly stayed sick at this daycare. He was hurt at this daycare with bruises that was changing colors on his head an nobody couldn't tell me what happen. The infants room needs additional help because they aren't proper cared for. I asked Yinka if Brittney always mistreats the children and she told me that she can't respond to my question but that she would have a talk with her which let me know that this goes on often. When I stopped taking my kids to this daycare they were so happy and my infant wasn't sick anymore. My children hated attending this daycare. The employees are ghetto and unprofessional and are not fit to take care of children. Several people warned me not to let my kids attend this daycare and I hate that I didn't listen. Lesson learned, neactivities so another lie that is being told. I had to contact the state of maryland where they are licensed and report this nasty, raggedy daycare. This daycare just wrote a long paragraph full of lies. Not once did they notify me of a cancel trip and decided to keep my money for a schedule field trip that they didn't take the children to. Not once did I ever tell this unprofessional daycare that I had financial issues. This is there way of covering up their wrongful ways and I just found out that they make parents pay for registration fees knowing that childcare vouchers cover registration fees so they still owe me money but refuse to pay or tell me about it. This daycare is not to be trusted. They will continue to lie their way out of something that they did wrong and try to pass themselves off as a great daycare provider when clearly they are trash. Goodnews staff needs to start owning up to their mistakes and learn to correct their mistakes, apologize and realize that they need to do a lot better than what they have been doing. I have put out so much money at this daycare on field trip and all they can do is lie and say I had financial problems, lol please stop with the lies. This daycare never provides learning books or activities. My son was absolutely healthy and not sick at all, he begin getting sick his first week in the daycare and stayed sick the whole time. No child should be sick constantly but now that my son is in a new childcare center he is doing excellent and is a happy baby and so is my 4 year old. My kids love their new childcare center and hated Goodnews learning center and never want to return and they will not ever step foot at Goodnews Learning Center. Another lie that the daycare wrote about is that my son was sick before he attended smh. My kids hate this daycare and will not ever be returning.

I took my son to this childcare about 2 yrs ago and it was the quickest month in the world. My son caught hands foot and mouth disease from this childcare center. There were several other cases prior to my son’s but they were reluctant to inform parents. They waited til each child got sick and then you get a phone call at work to come pick up your child due to high fever but no one says, “Hey by the way....little Johnny had Hands Foot and Mouth last week, get your child checked” She has her children work here in the summer so they are not licensed....definitely not too happy my child was cared for by a 16 yr old Needless to say, I was told they were no longer able to service my child because every time they talked to me I had a problem 🤷🏽‍♀️ Ummm ya damn right I did! DONT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE VOUCHER PARENT OR NOT! And my reviews are to warn other mothers and I don’t expect the owner to approve and so will continue to blast daycare such as yourself because I work for social services and it’s called being a mandated reporter!
