We love Good News Child Care! After having our son get abused at another center I was hesitant to trust again. Good News has gone above and beyond to accommodate his needs (autism, adhd, ocd, anxiety). He loves going and all the staff know him and they know that we are his parents. They go above and beyond to make us feel like family and even get our son on the bus for early childhood. After being hesitant to join another center we have found our home in Good News. Tammy and the staff are amazing and they do a great job with all of the kids!

I went back and forth right this review but I figured it couldn't help others from deciding if its a good fit for their child or not. My child had attended preschool here with the understanding that they were not fully potty trained as we had some medical issues that had delayed them to be fully trained. Our child started school the week of October and was asked to leave the third week of November. Why you may ask yourself reading this why were they asked to leave in a short amount of time. What the Director told me was due to my child not being fully potty trained but I honestly think it is because we caught their assistant teacher in a lie. We had gotten emails multiple emails that my child was having diarrhea and blow outs everyday and only when at preschool. My child never had any blow out at our house or daycare where he would spend most of the day. When they would come back they would still be in the same clothing as they were before leaving and wouldn't have any smell or dirty clothes on them. This was an almost daily thing since he started. Then we had a conference with his main teach and I was told that my child talked too much and had a suggestion to take him to be tested (For ADHD and OPD) when i said he was only three and I don't think a doctor would test him nor do I think their is anything they could do I was told " the right doctor will test and prescribed" I was shocked and honestly disguised that I was told that. My child at that time had only been there a little over 2 and half weeks and the teach made that suggestion. The final straw came when I had gotten a message about my child not having any pull ups or any wipes in their bag and they had diarrhea running down their leg. I know that I had placed new pullups and wipes in the back back and when I pressed a little bit the assistant teach said " I went in the wrong bag all is taken care of" however when he came back to daycare he was in the same pants. That was the final straw for me I called the director and spoke to her the frustration about being told my child has diarrhea and blow outs and yet his clothes remain the same and she goes " I wanted to talk to you about that" and proceeded to tell me that my son due to not being able to poop in the poty was not allowed to continue school when I asked about how the assistant teacher basically lied I was told that " Well I think she may have gotten loose stools mixed up with diarrhea " how can someone get loose stool and diarrhea mixed up if they had been working with kids for years? and to top it all off when we started the teachers and both directors said it was okay that my child was not fully poty trained and they would work with us. The director ended the call by saying that she thinks if we took a brake and took him out for the rest of the month and re-evaluated at the end of December to see if he could start again.. I will absolutely not bring my child there. I have not trust with the staff or directors there.

Would highly recommend avoiding this place. Extremely expensive and my child dreaded every day of it. Rude and mean workers, not a good place. (Fake name for obvious privacy reasons)
