Very unprofessional in handling communication when it comes to our own children. I can go into details which I will on a blog on how this school district operates. Donna the Superintendent is impossible to reach and is always in a meeting. Secretary always says the same thing regarding that they are in a meeting. David Simmons who is the head of Human resources was supposed to get very important information to me that he had for weeks before contacting me after we had plans for a camping trip with Goleta Family School District. I wasn't notified until the evening before the trip and wasn't able to talk to anyone from the district about it until I basically called over and over again. I have yet to hear back from Donna Lewis
I had a horrible experience with the staff of this school district. They are not helpful or friendly. I went in every day for a week and they kept telling me they would call me and they wouldn’t. They acted like they didn’t know me every time I went into the office. I wanted to speak to the director and they sent me to her assistant who did not listen to me and took me back to the office where they pretended they didn’t know me. They kept redirecting me and failed to address the issue. I got really angry and finally they got someone to help me. Horrible experience.
This was the school I attended for all of 2nd grade and half of 3rd grade. I had the best 2nd grade teacher. Her name was Ms. Dyson.
#5 option (preschool information), the lady who replied was super friendly, patient and professional. I wish I asked her name.
