Goddard School @ Columbia

We love the Goddard school! Our daughter had not had any daycare experience prior to attending the Goddard School, but the systems and structure in place have been wonderful in helping her acclimate and thrive at Goddard! The school itself is well organized, clean, and inviting. The staff are welcoming, kind, and helpful with any need. The engaging activities and programs that children get to participate in are such a treat! In terms of curriculum, the school has done an excellent job; our daughter has learned so much since starting school. The school feels very safe, not only because the staff is trustworthy, but because the school utilizes several security mechanisms. The owners also show a deep interest in students, parents, and families, and it is clear to see they are right at home running this school. We are so grateful and will continue to stay with Goddard as long as we can!

The Goddard School of Columbia has been a wonderful experience for our family. Both of my children have attended since 2021, and we couldn’t be happier with the care, education, and support they’ve received. The teachers are truly amazing. They are nurturing, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s development. They create a safe, welcoming environment where my kids learn and grow. Our daughter has been with the Goddard School of Columbia for about a year now and she has loved it! She looks forward to going to school each day to see her teachers and classmates. We love the sense of community that Jim and Lynn (the owners) have built. They are very hands-on and present in making sure every child is seen and has their needs are met. Even though our daughter has her own classroom teacher it seems that every staff member knows her name and has interacted with her. There's a real sense of belonging. And as a parent, just knowing our daughter is safe, cared for, engaged, and happy is the best feeling. We highly recommend Goddard School of Columbia to any family.

We have had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Goddard School in Columbia. This is our son’s first year in preschool, and the growth we’ve seen in such a short amount of time has been incredible. Ms. Lisa has been amazing. She is patient, caring, and truly invested in the kids. Our son absolutely loves her, which gives us so much peace of mind as parents. It’s obvious she creates a warm, supportive environment for her class. The communication from the staff has been great, and we honestly can’t say anything negative about our experience. We’re so grateful we chose this school and highly recommend it!
