We’ve had an amazing experience with The Goddard School in Chanhassen. We have been here since October 2024. The teachers are exceptional. The staff’s dedication to social-emotional development, alongside academics is evident. We love the variety of enrichment programs that cater to our child’s interests. The facility is safe, clean, and welcoming. It's always a bonus when your child specifically asks to go there or doesn't want to leave.
Our children absolutely love The Goddard School and are excited to go each day. The curriculum is advanced and we are very happy with the rate at which they are learning and building social skills. The directors are very involved with the kids and can tell you what kind of day they have had every day, which we continue to be impressed by but speaks volumes as to why you choose a smaller school like Goddard. Our kids particularly love all of the fun activities that are planned in the summer such as petting zoos, magicians, ice cream trucks, water days, bike days, etc... and us parents love the quarterly parents night out and the annual Christmas program! Our only complaint is the teacher turnover and inconsistencies at times, but I think almost every daycare is struggling with this right now.
We've been a Goddard family since 2019. Choosing this school for our daughter is one of the best decisions we as parents have made for her. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to create an inclusive community with love and warmth. The environment is nurturing and there is great communication with parents every step of the way. I can't say enough great things about our experience. My daughter adores her teachers and friends! The school has helped her break out of her shell and grow into a confident, loving, and empathetic human being. The teachers do an excellent job of preparing them for Kindergarten with their excellent curriculum and more importantly, honing their social and emotional skills.
