What Parents Say
Gloria Ainsworth receives mixed reviews. Positive reviews highlight strong educational programs, activities, field trips, responsive staff, and success with children including those with disabilities. However, serious safety concerns have been raised regarding transportation procedures, unauthorized stops during bus routes, and inadequate response to parental complaints.
My 3 love this daycare! They do a great job with teaching the children my 1 year old knows his abc's and 123's. My 3 year old who is autistic and has RSS had a little trouble adjusting but they have had great patience with him. My oldest who is 4 just loves going and making friends both Saturday and Sunday she asks when she is going back to daycare. I highly recommend this daycare even for children with disabilities it is a great place!!! They do so many activities while at the daycare as well as field trips.
Our child has attended Gloria Ainsworth for one year, as a toddler. We have really enjoyed all of the activities they provide and the focus on education. The meal program has improved since we've been there, offering more variety and healthy options. They often send home artwork (sometimes daily) our child has created, they play outside every day and the education director, Bobbi, is extremely accessible and responsive. Would definitely recommend.
Gloria Ainsworth Daycare, If your children go here you might want to reevaluate this. My son rides the bus from school to daycare. Normally there are two daycare workers on the bus when picking the kids up and driving them back and forth from school and daycare. The second daycare worker has been on vacation. This leaves this adult male on the bus with 2 young children. 2 days in a row 2 separate male drivers for Gloria Ainsworth have taken this opportunity to pick these children up from school and not go straight back to daycare. The first day my son was taken by a grandparents house and then the driver preceded to show them where he lived and told them not to tell anyone because it is their secret. The second day the driver took them from Lincoln and drove out past the Hardy Murphy to another grandparents house and let my child out to check the mail. When informing Gloria Ainsworth of this they have decided to treat it as not a same day level of importance. They have also stated that the driver was just trying to be friendly. They also decided to put one of these men back on a bus alone driving children today. They have made an excuse for the first incident saying they had to take a different route because of the train. My child and another young boy was asked not to tell anyone that they were driving across town to other locations, hopping off of the bus to check mailboxes and being shown the drivers homes. When I asked what their excuse was for the second incident they had the audacity to tell me it was a poor judgement call and that this grown man was just trying to be my 7 year old sons friend. The Board Member, Sheri McAnally proceeded to ask me what daycares I have ran. The director, Bobby made the decision to not call me back yesterday when notice was given and proceeded to allow other child to get back on the bus with this man.
I’m giving them 2 ⭐️, only because they do keep people from accessing children unless they’re allowed. But, I am upset about my grandson coming home with marks on body, when asked about, was told he came in like that! I know for a fact this happened at the daycare, he told us.
They do a great job with my RJ he knows Abc&123 & more to just be turning 3 if I could I give the a 10 hands down try them out bet you just them just like RJ does💯
