What Parents Say
This listing appears to be misclassified. The reviews provided are for Glendale Community College, not an infant daycare center. Reviews praise the college's quality education, supportive faculty, and campus facilities.
Glendale Community College has a decent campus overall, but the hills are extremely steep. I feel like it would be really tiring to walk up and down those slopes every day. The school itself seems fine, but the terrain makes daily commuting pretty challenging. Something to keep in mind if you prefer a flat and easily walkable campus.
Glendale Community College (GCC) offers a solid educational experience with a strong focus on student success and transfer opportunities. The campus is clean, well-maintained, and features updated facilities, including modern classrooms and a helpful library. Professors are generally supportive and knowledgeable, especially in popular programs like nursing, business, and the arts. The college also provides a range of student services such as tutoring, counseling, and career guidance. While parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours, the overall atmosphere is welcoming and student-focused, making it a great choice for those starting their academic journey.
Adventist Health Center is conducting a Vaccine center at The Glendale Community College in the parking structure at the top of the hill right off of the 2 Fwy Off the Mountain exit. The staff are very helpful. There is very clear and strict mandates on masks and health protocols. Please follow signage and bring your masks. You will need your ID for check in. The nurses are very helpful and many of them have worked in the ER with patients and have seen the effects of the pandemic. So most of them are very happy to administer the vaccine and help prevent the spread of this terrible disease. We are all so happy to share the change in the world and grow together. There is Hope and these are the people that are here to spread that hope. 3👍🏼’s out of 3👍🏼’s the staff and Nurses are very helpful and thoughtful.
Best Community College in California! Amazing professors and a school that takes care of their students.
The staff at this school exhibit a concerning lack of professionalism and diligence. They seem unwilling to put in the necessary effort, often providing incorrect information and resorting to blaming students for their own shortcomings. Classes are abruptly canceled mere days before the semester begins, displaying a lack of foresight and consideration for students' schedules. Additionally, encounters with staff members can be characterized by rudeness and incompetence, creating a hostile environment for students. It's imperative to hold them accountable for their actions and demand better treatment. If you want your concerns to be taken seriously, it's essential to reciprocate the same level of assertiveness and firmness in your interactions with them. From mishandling important documents that could jeopardize an entire semester to issuing incorrect grades, this institution fails to meet even the most basic standards of competence and professionalism. In my experience, it stands as one of the worst community colleges in Los Angeles County.
