The Glen Rock Co-op has been such a wonderful place for my young children to learn and grow. They have had teachers who are always warm and caring, allowing them the freedom to learn through play but also provide the right amount of structure. Through the Co-op model, we really cherish the ability to be involved in our children's early education, seeing how they thrive in the fun and engaging classroom environment. Participating in class has also allowed us to get to know the other families well and form a close-knit community. From the Toddler & Me class on up through TK, my children have run through the doors every morning hardly saying goodbye, they are so eager to get to a school they love so much! We love the Co-op!
We could not be happier with the Co-op! The teachers are so kind, loving, and genuinely care about each child. The environment is so warm, welcoming and full of fun, engaging play and learning. It is a wonderful community!
This is such a wonderful school and introduction to a structured, but fun and loving, learning environment for little ones. We started our oldest in the Toddler & Me (parent/mommy and me) class all the way through their Transitional Kindergarten program meant for kids whose parents want to wait until they're an older 5 or kids who just miss the K age cutoff. Our youngest is now in his second year at the Co-op. We are so fortunate to have found this gem in town and have love being so involved in our kids' early education experience. The teachers are phenomenal and the director is a one-of-a-kind and incredible human being who knows every student, sibling, and parent, by name by the end of week one (or sooner!). We love seeing the school staff, teachers, and directors around town. You can really tell how invested everyone is in raising good humans and setting them up for success. We've made what will be lifelong friendships here and the school really does foster a lovely community for students, parents, and families as a whole.
I can't stress enough what a huge impact the Co-op, it's wonderful teachers, and the community surrounding it had on our two boys. We had just moved into town when we started and the co-op was where they made all of their first memories and made their first friends. Mrs. Tarrant, Mrs. Dalton, Mrs. Smith, and all of the others are just the best. Highly recommended!
My son has had a wonderful experience at Glen Rock Cooperative Nursery School. The teachers are excellent and experienced, and truly care for the children in their classes. Our son has made excellent progress while here and we have loved the community we've found at the school. Their extracurricular classes are varied and have offered our son the chance to try everything from Spanish, to Planning and building, to exploring the outdoors. Best of all, he is excited to go to school every day, and can't wait to tell us what he's done when he comes home. We love the opportunity to be in his class once a month as well- watching him interact with his peers and learn in a school setting has been a real joy! I could not recommend this school more highly!
