Giving Tree Child Development Center

Giving Tree has been like a second home for my kids and myself. The teachers are amazing and my kids are so happy every day to go and see their friends and to learn. The food is freshly made every day, your spoken to by the admin up front each time you enter the door, and you can always hear the sweet laughter of children when walking through the halls. I truly couldn’t be more thankful to have somewhere I trust 1000% for my kids to attend everyday. Cannot recommend enough!

I honestly could not agree with the negative reviews any more😡RUN like the lady said!! I will start by saying that the teachers are amazing, but the administration is terrible and needs reconstruction (Says many of the other parents we’ve spoken to!). Let me start by saying Allie (Admin) will try to diagnose your child behind a screen by recommending therapy for your child!!!😡 I have overheard Jamie, Allie, and Rhonda (Also Admin) talking down on other children and teachers at the front desk while picking up! Don’t believe the good reviews either, they enter parents into a drawing for free tuition if they submit a good review! They are overpriced and pick and choose who to provide good care for. Unenrolling my child ASAP. RUN!!

This daycare is terrible. For one the daycare instructor is racist. My child’s first day she singled him out and asked another black student to say “hi” to my son instead of saying hi to the whole class- weird. Two, they would literally call me just about every other day to pick my child up due to my child being sleepy, not misbehaving but because he was tired. I informed them before he started that this is his first time attending daycare and I am just now returning to work since having him so it was a adjustment for both of us, they claimed they understood but due to having to continuously pick him up after paying the full amount every single week, it resulted in me being fired from my job. Three, they had a huge outbreak of HFMD and didnt care to inform any parents. My son got sick and I didn’t know where it came from then when I contact the daycare the director is all like “oh yeah it’s going around the school, 3 students in each class have it” ummm you don’t think it was important to notify other parents???? Then makes an all around post on the app AFTER I called stating it was an outbreak that was my final straw. I removed my child from the daycare, months pass by I contact again to see if I can get tax documents for daycare payments. They then proceed to lie and state that they are not able to give me the information due to a balance being due which is incorrect. When asked to speak to the director now it’s “ we will get it sent out to you”. They are very unprofessional and racist. I would not recommend. I have my child in a new daycare and he is excelling and I don’t have ANY of the problems I had with Giving tree with the new day care. If in the lake Wylie area I HIGHLY recommend Goddard, it’s one across the street from Goddard that I love and I absolutely love the learning experience right behind QT.

I highly recommend Giving Tree! They have provided care for my grandchildren & now my great grandchildren! They are definitely like family. Always welcoming from the time you enter the front door to each classroom my grandchildren have attended .

We have 3 children at Giving Tree and could not say enough great things. We have been very happy with the teachers and transitions from class to class. The communication is always very open and honest between the administration and parents. As a parent, you always want to feel like your child's best interest is priority and here, I can honestly say that they keep our children's best interest in mind at all times! Before choosing Giving Tree, we toured several other facilities in the area and knew that without a doubt Giving Tree would be the place for our children. Shelly was very thorough with details about the daycare, classroom, what to expect and so on.
