Girasol Dual Language Preschool

We don’t speak Spanish in our home but I have always wanted my children to grasp another language especially Spanish. Our son has been attending Girasol for a little over a year now and he loves it! When he first started he would hardly speak and was very difficult to understand but the teachers here worked with him and we’re very patient. Now he’s a whole other child. He loves singing new songs that he’s learned or teaching us new words and phrases that are completely in Spanish. These teachers are nothing short of amazing. This is a great school. I am at ease knowing that my son is in a safe environment with awesome teachers that care about his well-being and challenge him intellectually. The amount of Spanish my son has picked up amazes me daily. Not only is he getting a foundation of a foreign language but he’s also being prepped for Kindergarten as well. I’m excited too see how much more he learns and I can’t wait long enough to put our daughter in Girasol. Any parents looking for a school where their child/children will be challenged be loved and learn another language, then I would recommend this school.

I highly recommend Girasol for any parent interested in their child learning or maintaining a Spanish language proficiency. The staff and owner are exceptional. It is evident they adore their students, and have a passion to teach Spanish. My husband and I are very pleased with our son’s progress and can’t wait for our daughter to join the Girasol family. While I do believe my son is naturally gifted, he has learned to read, write, do math, tell time, and construct sentences in Spanish. He recently turned 4; so I view his development as exceptional and highly credit these milestones to Girasol. The low student to teacher ratio, warm environment, and family-friendly atmosphere all serve to foster learning.

My son has been attending Girasol for a little more over a year. I love the way my son has been treated with loved, patience and respect. He loves to go and see his friends and spend time at school. He loves his teachers and never has anything wrong to say about them. I feel grateful for all the teachers there. For their great effort in the wellbeing of the children, especially with my son. My son is learning a ton since he is there. His communication in Spanish has improve a lot and he loves to attend school. The environment feels warm and safe for the children. Classes are in small groups but he is also able to interact with all his friend. I am so happy that God place this school near us when we need it. I absolutely recommend Girasol to all those parents looking for a school that really cares about the wellbeing of the children. And it is a super plus that they can learn Spanish in a very fun and practical way.

My daughter attends Girasol preschool and we love it! My wife and I wanted our daughter to start learning a foreign language at a young age. We tried a few Spanish classes, but wanted to get more exposure than the same basic lessons: counting to 10, basic colors, body parts, etc, so we were excited to find Giarsol. My daughter isn't just learning math, but is picking up a foreign language when they teach her math in Spanish. The teachers are fluent in both English and Spanish, so they clarify things in English when she needs help, but my daughter is excited with the new Spanish vocabulary she learns every day. The small class size allows for a lot of 1-on-1 instruction, so the teachers personalize the lessons to help her get the most out of the class. We only attend 2 days a week, but there is the option to attend 3 or 5 days a week. We wanted a part-time preschool that would help our daughter start to learn a foreign language, and Girasol has been a great choice.

We couldn't be more pleased with our son's preschool experience at Girasol Dual Language Preschool. It is a dual language, montessori style, and Christian preschool- a unique structure that fulfills exactly what we were hoping to find in a preschool. My son is challenged yet comes home cheerful. He has gained cute friendships, independence, and coherent English/Spanish speaking and writing skills at Girasol. His teachers are special and treat him with kindness. Girasol is a gem of a preschool in Cypress.
