We love GKA! The teachers show so much love for my daughter and really make us feel at home. We were unsure at first (it was our first baby to be brought to a daycare!) but they made the transition SO easy and made her feel so loved. Would recommend this place to everyone new to Rosenberg!
Mrs. K has a heart of gold. As a single mother who works 60 plus hours a week to provide for her children . Having daycare can be a very hard expense. They worked with me all school year on payment arrangements and school fees. Elizabeth and Daja are awesome with the after school kids. Everyday they lightened my load by having the girls reading and homework done for me at pick up. My girls finished the school semester with All A’s and B’s . This place was a God send for me and I pray they have nothing but success. ❤️
My baby loves gingerbread! All the teachers in the infant room are fantastic! They are so kind and caring, and never hesitate to ask questions or bring up something they noticed about my baby (which is so helpful and lets me know they pay close attention to her and her needs). I know I can count on them to make sure my baby is happy and safe during the day. I can’t speak for the other levels but if you have a baby that needs daycare this is a great place!
I give this place a 2 instead of a 1 because when I desperately looking for daycare the they took my 10 month old right away. But with that being said. We had the worst experience. My son would be starving and thirsty when we got home would go through two cups of water. We loved 2 of his teachers and that was it. The other ones would barely say a word when I picked him up or dropped him off. They had my 14 month old with small babies instead of putting him with the appropriate age group. They kept telling me for weeks they were going to move him. They are terrible at communicating with the parents or at least me I had little to know communication. The owners are very rude. My child goes to a new daycare and has been so happy since and doesn’t come home starving or thirsty. Hope this helps a desperate parent make a better decision.
I am usually not one to leave bad reviews but as a mom I feel like you should be aware of where you are thinking about sending your child. You start your first week off wonderful, and think they higher cost of the school is worth it! You will get pictures and sweet messages all day, however that soon stops. - They called at least once a week for us to watch our three month old, because she was “not acting herself” once we got her home she would not have a fever and would be acting fine. - On top of having to watch her during the week when they called us to pick her up, they then shut down for seven business days due to COVID. As an essential worker, this is what finally made us have to find a new day care. - Management is very rude, and unprofessional. Since COVID is taking place you have to wait at the door for the teacher to bring you your child (which is completely understandable). While I was waiting about ten minutes one day the owner and manager were standing outside gossiping about a person. Never once was I approached or asked if they could go check on my child they continued to speak until my daughter was brought out to me. Once they saw her they told us to have a good day. - They don’t seem to help teach your child anything either, my child manage to grow a bald spot on the back of her head while attending this school. These are just a few things that happen in the month we were there. We now attend a new daycare in the area, and they are as sweet as ever. All the teachers know my daughter in a matter of a week of her going there, and the owner and teachers always have something nice to say about her when I pick her up! Just take the time to look for a place that not only makes you happy, but will make your sweet baby happy! Hope this helps!
