What Parents Say
Gilden Woods receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with parents praising the caring and attentive staff, clean facilities, educational curriculum, and strong communication. One parent raised concerns about recurring staffing shortages leading to room closures, mask compliance issues, latex allergy exposure, and pricing compared to competitors.
My daughter's love going to Gilden Woods. The staff is amazing - so friendly and attentive. Great communication about how my daughters day went or if I should be aware of anything such as her teething. The staffing is good now, they're hardly ever closed. The daycare is clean, they do tons of activities with the kids, my kids are so smart, the outdoor spaces are great. I would definitely recommend this location. Shout-out to Jamie and Nikki and the rest of the staff for keeping things running smoothly.
Both of my girls had great experiences with all of the teachers here. My daughter attended and was part of the first graduating preschool class and she made so many friends there that she still talks to. Great staff and management!
My granddaughter attends this day care program and is well cared for by her teachers. The facility is clean and staff is very friendly when I have picked her up.
2 very bad things but needs to be on here: My daughter (2yo) was bit to the point of blood March 5 while at this daycare. It’s now April 22 and she still has a mark on her body, I assume it’s a scar but hoping it goes away eventually. Kids will bite yes, but no phone call, no text, no email, nothing in person when I picked her up, no incident report, nothing. I then call about it, ask for the written report, get a half-filled out & 80% incorrect report, and then have to call again to get an actual report sent to me. Kids will bite yes, but the parents should be told. I was told by the director she reviewed the footage and the teacher looked at the spot, saw she got bit, consoled her until she stopped crying, & went home later without saying anything. 2nd thing: before this incident, while watching the livestream, a kid took the bottle out of my child’s mouth, drank from it while walking away, the teacher took the bottle and just gave it right back to my child. No washing/rinsing/anything which is one of the first and main things they teach you when starting to work at a daycare (3-Step Rule). Absolutely disgusting and in no way caring for the kids’ health or preventing any sickness spreading. Never been a big “go leave a review” kinda guy but if you just see it as another job you shouldn’t be in daycare with literal helpless children. Idk about the other locations but they ruined the trust in daycares for us…
The director Jamie is very very unprofessional started a tour I specifically signed up for and did not call me once and started it early with someone els aswell. Last time I tried the daycare she was making fun of other staff members and she laughed in my face when I said she was being unprofessional. As long as Jamie is working there this place will not be safe or professional. Has done so many wrongs and this is the person you want to keep. Crazy.
