What Parents Say
Giggles and Grins has five 5-star reviews praising the staff, learning environment, and child development, but two detailed 1-star reviews report serious concerns about infant care quality (lack of supervision, improper feeding practices, cross-contamination of supplies) and repeated unsubstantiated lice accusations that caused significant family hardship.
Very long review October 10,2025 My daughter started back the end of July and last day is October 10,2025. My daughter she was about 3 months . My daughter has excema just like me so I know the pains she goes through from itching to it being irritating and trust me ik it can be a handle full trying to tend to other kids and her but it was like as time went on it seemed she started to become a bother she get left alone . I come to pick her up mind you I send her in mittens and socks on her hands . Than I pick her up there gone off her hands they tell me oh she was scratching really bad it was rough for her. So first of all where's the socks I send her in every morning. So I just completely send her Jammie's with the covers on her hands . Thought that be the solution no . Next big thing why if I'm buying wipes and diapers for my child why is it being used amongst all the other kids through the class , mind you just told you my daughter has sensitive skin so if I bring for my child use her things ! I bought four whole packs of wipes ik in two weeks should not be through them that fast . Oh if you want your infant to be put in a swing all day bottle propped up by a blanket / towel yea send them here. Every time it seem like I pick my daughter up clothes always changed bc they keep telling me she spitting up she's spitting up , why though ? If she's not going all projectile spit up at home , I pick her up walking out she's spitting up seems like an entire bottle like she's not even being burped oh yea and bottle being propped up underneath her she's an infant like be for real . Than my daughter also got hand and foot and mind you so many times I've gone to drop her off and there's toddlers older kids in the room . It's the infant room for a reason no other kids besides the teachers . You can imagine toddlers hands being dirty , snotty noses being in the babies face . After me being told " yes one of the kids have hand foot mouth but not in the infant class" than few days appeared on my daughter and she's out ! Monday October 11th I brought my daughter in and told the teacher she's having a really rough morning she was very irritable the weekend not really getting any sleep , so I express if she's really fussy I have an appointment @1:15 I'll leave work and come get her . Mind you yes I forgot I changed my number at the daycare so my fault on that but I called the daycare @11:53 to check in one of the owners who run the daycare picks up . She states " oh yea she's fine she's fine, I just left out the infant room she's taking a nap " ok good hangs up . Fast forward to picking her up " oh my goodness she had such a rough day she had been crying scratching all day long . I say I called you guys and And I was told that she was fine so I just thought that she was OK but now I'm picking her up and you're telling me she had a really bad day and now they're both looking at me like they have no idea what I'm talking about the teachers like oh well I guess they didn't get the call. What do you mean? They didn't get the call when somebody picked up the phone and said that she was absolutely fine but now I'm getting her and it's a different story. First of all, she shouldn't even be scratching herself all day because like I said earlier, I put socks and mittens on her every single morning and as I'm picking her up once again, her socks are off her hands. Where are they? How long have they been off her hands y'all know she has her eczema problem, and y'all are barely even tending to it. Yesterday October 9 I got all of her things and I get the bag and I'm like OK no wonder why I could never find all of her bibs all her mittens that were on her hands. They were all just in her bin and I can tell that they were not being used because they were clean so why every single time I'm a pick her up one her clothes are always dirty too. I Why did y'all never put them on her? So I am so glad I am To pull my daughter and I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND HERE AT ALL FOR INFANT PARENTS !!
My daughter has been going there since she was 6 months and she is 2 years old now, the staff is wonderful, everyday my daughter is so excited to go. She is learning her numbers, letters, shapes, colors and more. I love this place would recommend to anyone.
I absolutely love everyone who works here. My child has grown to be such a smart and respectable young person. My sisters two children have also attended this learning center and they have learned and grown so much. Hands down the best learning center with the most amazing teachers. They come to work every day in hopes to give every child the best they can. I highly recommend Giggles and Grins Learning Center to anyone in need of child care!!!
Within 3 months, my child has been sent home 5 times due to head lice. Each instance involved several days missed of work/daycare, as I learned it became necessary to provide clearance from a doctor to return. Even more concerning, is that the daycare claimed that my daughter was the ONLY child affected and therefore, the cause. Despite their claims, I was never able to find anything in her hair aside from the 1st instance. Nevertheless, each time I followed all recommended protocols in cleansing and treating our home, cars, etc., several times. I even brought my daughter to a dermatologist for prescription treatment/prevention, and had Orkin conduct additional treatment in our home. For the 4th instance, she was sent home for supposed lice/nits on Thursday. I kept her home Friday, Saturday, and Sunday and did NOT treat her hair, as I saw no lice/nits in her hair yet again. Monday morning, she was cleared by a physician. He informed me that not only is her hair clear, but there was no way she had lice to the extent the school claimed over the last 3 months since there was no evidence of bites, scratches, nits, or lice. When I informed the daycare of this information, they were adamant that my daughter was the ONLY child with a lice problem and even accused me as being the source of the "super lice" I must have in my home! Each day from that point on her hair was tightly braided into a ballerina bun with lots of hairspray, as we were told this would help. A few weeks later, we started a new daycare the day after the 5th instance. I feel as though I am an accommodating and reasonable parent. I put forth my best effort to work with the daycare in remediating the situation, but to no avail. This situation was not only unnecessary, but extremely frustrating, humiliating, and expensive. Since leaving G&G, there have been no signs of any problems regarding my child's hair.
Great staff! They really work with the children and prepare them for school.
