What Parents Say
Generations Child and Elder Care receives mixed reviews. Multiple parents praise the caring staff, clean environment, and positive developmental outcomes for their children. However, several parents report frequent illness, high staff turnover, poor communication, and sanitation concerns.
Generation’s childcare located in Irondequoit New York has been nothing short of amazing. The experience that my toddler and I have had, has been extremely blissful. From day one I have been made to feel extremely comfortable with the care and learning my little one has been receiving. Everyone is on one accord and it shows through the children. My little one absolutely loves going to what he calls “ baby school”. Staff does a lot of different activities to help with the growth and development of the children. Everyone is very friendly and it’s like a second family. This is my son’s first year attending pre-K and of course you have hesitation sending your child places, however Generations childcare is the best place to send your child. I am extremely happy and blessed to have generations childcare as my child’s first experience with School.
We love Generations! Our daughter has excelled in the Pre-K classroom under the care and direction of Ms. Carter. Thank you for caring for our girl and teaching her so much!
I would like to express that Generations(Empire blvd) is amazing! The turnaround I’ve seen in the latest months from the first time I’ve visited is OUTSTANDING! I’ve looked into this location back in June but decided to go with childcare elsewhere. I felt God nudged me to this location again. When I went back I was in shock at how Clean, Organized and welcoming the environment is. The staff were focused, involved and playing with the children, which is what I look forward to! I want to personally congratulate Ms Nichole, site director on the hard work and compassion. ITS DEFINITELY NOTICED! And I look forward to my child joining the generations community ❤️
My daughter attended EPK at Generations on Empire and we had a great experience. Communication between teachers, administration and parents was great. Its a clean, friendly, well kept environment. My daughter is still talking about Miss Shawna and Miss Ryann months later. I wouldn't hesitate to send my child here. Yep, the parking stinks. Yep, kids get sick and share their germs- that happens everywhere. The important thing is that its a safe, caring and nurturing environment for little minds.
My children have been students at generations for about a year and a half. In that time frame they have been sick on and off at least 8 times. Along with that, the changes in staff there has changed at least 5 times. They are not consistant with anything. The site constantly smells of urine and feces. The site director was fired and nobody knew who the new one was because there is always someone new in the office. I still have not met nor spoke with the new director. My youngest child recently came home with bumps all over her body and when I brought it to the attention of the staff they said " oh yea she prob got that from the other kid who has bumps on her face last week" I was outrage! There was no notice or warning that another child had been ill in the school. This is not ok. My daughter who is one is home now with a fever and hand foot and mouth disease. I would not recommend Generations to anyone who cares about there child. The days you'll have to take off work and deal with your child in pain is not cool.
