Great community center with tons of activities for the kids
Great place for anyone. Went to the Christmas Bazaar. Awesome! Wish they had advertised the all you can eat breakfast for $7.00. I didn't know . They were having that. I am sure. If they had. More people would of come out. Next time put the breakfast in the paper!!
A wonderful resource for our small town. Excellent programming for seniors and children, a great value for the cost of childcare. I am so thrilled with the preschool program. Far exceeded my expectations. Gears really is a glue that binds our community learning and supporting one another.
My son attends the GEARS Kids Center located at the Elizabethtown Community Center. He loves going there and he loves the leaders. The program seems to be well run with an emphasis on continuous improvement. They have a genuine interest in education while still giving the children plenty of opportunity for play. I feel that my son has been able to grow and that he is well prepared for when he continues on to school.
I've signed up for several programs that help seniors, such as a monthly Pennsylvania food box and fresh produce vouchers. The staff is very helpful. Jess has helped me fill out complicated forms and in using the on-site computers. There are meals and activities for seniors throughout the week.
