We have been with Cadence for almost 2 years and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this facility. Our oldest started Cadence when he just turned 3 and has had wonderful interactions with all teachers across the board. They helped potty train him and guide him to the next level in his development. When we started at Cadence, we lived about 5 minutes away. Then we bought a house up in Statesville, left for about a month to go to a facility closer to us, but we quickly returned after about a month to Cadence because of the vast difference in care. After we returned, my 3 year old literally danced his way through those school doors. He was smiling, dancing, and singing all day with how happy he was. He was saying hi to every person he knew and who he didn't know. The level of comfort provided for him in just a short time was proof we made the right move in coming back. Cadence has been by far our favorite experience in any daycare or preschool we have ever been apart of. We now drive from Statesville, there and back, twice a day, and we have been ever since. I do not plan on ever changing this because of the level of expertise, comfort, safety, and care they all pour into the kids. Our second son recently enrolled when he turned 6 weeks old and he has been treated with the same love and care that our oldest has been. I could truly write a novel on how amazing this school is in terms of safety measures, love, education, and pure nurturing behavior that is provided daily. Parents also receive daily reports, pictures, and food provided throughout the day. You really get to be involved here as a parent. We have had the pleasure of working with Mr. Leo, Ms. Renee, Ms. Carissa, Ms. Diana, Ms. Jayla, Ms. Nika, Ms. Archana, and Ms. Jenn. They are all rockstars! I will shout it from the rooftops that this school is amazing and has provided nothing but excellence.

There isn't enough space to write down all of the great things we can say about Cadence and the team of staff/teachers. Ms. Nika and Ms. Jayla had our daughter from the time she was 10 weeks old until she was 7 months. They're both such loving and caring teachers and we will forever be grateful for them. We had to move our daughter to another school that was closer to our house and while we're beyond sad about that, Cadence will be our first call when we move back to the Cornelius area.

I would not recommend this daycare. As a very busy single mom of two, my first concern was the lack of live camera access for parents. I also have a larger child with global delays, which I made very clear during enrollment. I was assured by both the Director and Teacher that they could accommodate his needs. However, on my child’s very first day, I was called at work by Mr. Leo and asked to pick him up early. The communication felt abrupt and ineffective, especially given the challenges I already juggle as a working parent. The following day, I was shocked to receive a call from Child Protective Services, who informed me a report had been made accusing me of overfeeding my child. This was deeply upsetting and felt unnecessary, especially since I had been transparent about my child’s condition from the start. As a parent, I expected understanding, support, and collaboration. Instead, I felt targeted and undermined. Families—especially those with children who have special needs—deserve a safe and supportive environment, not one where their parenting is questioned without basis.

Cadence Academy has been the best thing for our daughter, she is growing and thriving every day with the support of the teachers, assistant teachers and directors. It's such a family like atmosphere, even teachers my daughter hasn't had know her and her dietary restrictions. They provide a variety of educational opportunities (and fun ones, too!) Tasty Tuesdays and Water Wednesdays in the summer are some of our daughter's favorite things. I feel confident dropping her off every day, I know she is well taken care of and loved by everyone on staff. You will not regret enrolling your child at Cadence Academy!

We love our Cadence family! Every single teacher has been instrumental in our son's development and so nurturing. We get daily reports and photos throughout the day and always trust he is well taken care of. They do a great job creating curriculum and activities that are engaging and fun! The directors (Michelle & Leo) are fantastic! Since they have taken over, they have created an environment where school is an extension of our family and home life. They keep us in the loop and love on our boy like their own. We are so grateful for them!
