The Gambier Childcare Center is a jewel in the community. The center is run by Knox County Headstart but is located in a Kenyon owned building and adjusts is schedule to match the college's. The Center uses Conscious Discipline to help kids learn to manage their emotions appropriately and their emphasis is on creating a school family. I've very rarely heard of a family with any issues and, if they do have any, they are addressed very quickly. The teachers are wonderful and very qualified. Visit during mealtime and you'll see one of the most quiet, polite, and sweet moments that 10 toddlers can possibly have together.
