Both of my children attended this daycare for many years, and we had an amazing experience. The teachers and staff are caring, dedicated, and truly invested in the children. My kids learned so much during their time there and always felt supported and encouraged. When they entered elementary school, they were very well prepared, and their teachers often compliment them on their skills and confidence Saying that they are more advanced than the other children. I am always asked what school they attended before elementary school. We are so grateful for the positive foundation this daycare provided and I will always recommend it to all the parents I know!
My 17-month-old daughter attended Kiddie Academy Hicksville, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing and concerning. This facility did not feel safe for our child. Despite repeatedly informing the teachers that our daughter was not allowed to have certain foods, they continued to give her those items anyway. During the time she attended this daycare, she was constantly sick, which led to medical bills and a great deal of stress and worry for our family. We later realized that her illnesses were not coincidental but were likely caused by the daycare’s negligence. Once she stopped attending, she was completely fine. When we brought this issue to the director’s attention, she acknowledged that the teachers were at fault, but the situation was not handled properly or professionally. On top of that, we lost our deposit because of a two-week notice policy, even though we were forced to remove our child immediately for her health and safety. This place showed a serious lack of care, accountability, and compassion. Our child felt like just another number, not someone’s baby. I would strongly urge parents to think twice before enrolling their children here.
I absolutely love kiddie academy of Hicksville. We moved back to ny in 23 and we’ve experienced terrible service in the previous establishments but I continued my research and found kiddie academy and just been so blessed to have staff and management care for the children like they do. Very professional and loving staff. The children actually learn and grow here. Kiddie academy of Hicksville has created a safe and comfortable environment for my daughter. Thank you for the peace of mind you all have giving to me as a parent.
We absolutely LOVE Kiddie Academy! The teachers are amazing and so loving with the kids. I’ve noticed such a difference in my child’s language skills and social confidence since starting here. They really make learning fun, and it feels like a second home. Couldn’t ask for a better daycare!
My child has been going there for almost 2 years now and this place is bittersweet but recently I noticed in the room atikas is absolutely bad. I with my own eyes saw the teacher share her drink with the kids, same straw and she is saying “you can have some” absolutely no hygiene at all and who knows what’s in that drink. And the second teacher screaming her lungs out at the kids and being very aggressive towards them. I don’t know if I want my child to continue in this place anymore after witnessing these two teachers. I hope management looks into it. Be careful parents.
