This is a great place. My son enjoys his days here and so does my school aged children that attend after school. They feel safe and that we a the biggest thing I have always feared when it came to leaving my children somewhere so I could work. This daycare celebrates all holidays and always has fun activities for the kids to join after hours as well. Look no further!
I LOVE this daycare ! The workers are great and always on point! My daughter’s ages; 2,6&11 always have a fun time . Ms Tania Ms. Jamie Ms. Jaila & Ms. Shaun (owner) are such awesome staff. Literally, even the ones I didn’t mention are phenomenal. They give updates through the apps and everything ! 10 stars!!
My daughter is always in great hands. With nurturing meals and thought out lessons plans, it is now so stress free. I had so much separation anxiety at first and Ms Shun really helped me thru it with her guidance and understanding. Ms Jamie is such a joy and very efficient. My kiddo is crazy about Ms Marcayla. I can’t imagine my life without this center and the awesome staff.
Excellent teachers, staff, curriculum, and criteria where the little people are concerned. My child thrives in the environment that is Future Pioneers Learning Center. I'd recommend the facility to anyone looking for quality childcare. They genuinely care for the children. Theirs is a level of childcare that far surpasses the "norm." You've seen the rest. Future Pioneers is "The Best!"
Place started out rocky. Had many conversations about things I felt were common sense and felt like things got better for quite some time. Then the staff that was keeping the place afloat (although she apparently wasn't doing everything to the directors liking) got fired and new staff hired and other staff promoted and things went down hill. Besides an increase in prices and bad attitudes, my main issue was a volunteer lied and said my son had been vomiting all over the place and needed to go home on the 24hr policy, staff knew she lied and went along with it. I picked him up and he had on the same clothes i dropped him off in without a spot of vomit or food or crayon or dirt. I asked to see the camera which they acted like they didn't have time for. The video didn't show my son vomit at all. He didn't have a fever or anything. Took him to the doc and they didn't find anything either. When i questioned them the response i got was protective of the lady that lied (who was in her 50s) and i was told "it's just throw up". I was made to feel like i was the problem for asking questions. In addition, this same staff member was on the camera grabbing kids roughly, snatching their artwork from them and making them sit in time out. When i asked about that, i was told that's not usually her class (the 2 yr old room) and not everyone can handle being with a room full of toddlers (as if that made it ok). The final straw Was when my son came home with a bite on his arm (this wasn't the first time, just a new location skin missing, its months later and he still has a mark, so we're not talking abt a small bite, it was bad) and when i asked staff if my son and the biter are having consistent interactions like this, i was told i could not be told which was false. When i asked what policy it was that kept me from knowing since i wasn't asking for identifiers (she said it was state regulation which is a lie) the staff member turned her back and shut the door in my face as she said "im not doing this with you". She got uncomfortable and didnt know how to handle the situation and instead of asking for help or referring me to someone more qualified, she handled it this way and said "she feared for her life". This is a white girl working with a majority group of black kids and parents. A bad look... Dangerous, really! And it was one of the directors!!! After investigation, it was found that this kid had been allowed to stay in the center after biting multiple children over the course of a yr or two so they didn't tell me because they were protecting themselves from not following their own bite policy! To this day, i dont know why the lady lied about my son vomiting and the day after i asked about the biting, i went to drop my son off and we were met at the door with his belongings and told he was terminated. The staff that shut the door in my face claimed "she feared for her life" when i didn't move from my car and the owner/director barely gave me the time of day to discuss the incident. This place is on the down spiral and i do not recommend sending your child here. The staff talks terribly about parents and does not follow the policy they so adamently preach. I honestly hate to leave such a review considering i know the owner and felt my child would be safe in her care but that clearly didn't mean anything. Some of the staff are great and thats why it recieved the star i gave and my son did have some good times and made friends there but the place as a whole, is very shady and the above mentioned incidents outweigh harvest parties and field trips. I never once got an apology for my son or myself being mishandled or lied to or lied on and they definitely lost a loyal parent! This place is money hungry and your child is business to them!
