The pool is alright. Could use an update on the floor title. No Wi-Fi. But it's a great for the kids. Clean restroom. Has 2 water fountains. Handicap bathroom stall. Locker can have a lock 🔒 on it if you have your own.
drove over from Grand Junction to enjoy a swim and the posted pool hours on their website is inaccurate. I drove 25 minutes to Fruita and 25 minutes back to Grand Junction. A huge inconvenience. If you are going to schedule swim lessons during the posted open hours on your website than post the notice on your website. Or dont post the pool hours on your website at all. I used to frequent this rec center but now will be finding elsewhere to spend my time.
Such a great place they always care and make sure you have a great time and I’ve never had a bad experience there every time I come they always greet me and the lifeguards always are very nice when I need something. I definitely recommend going to this pool, If you’re going to go to any pool, I definitely recommend this one
Holy guacamole! Is it just me, or is Greyden Heilert a stand-up young man? He leads the guards by example and has restored this pool to its former glory. This place is the crown jewel of Fruita—all because of one lifeguard who chose to step up.
Can't swim in evenings due to swim lessons even though their website says open swim., can't swim in mid-morning due to exercise group even though sight says open swim, not enough lap lanes, useless to go unless you call a head, IF their phones are working. We finally gave up trying to use.
