My 4 year old son started there when he was 2.5 after going to a different school. The teachers and staff at FCH made this transition as smooth as possible! His development, both academically and emotionally, is evident and I’m thankful for the work they do with him. They really focus on each students individuality and personal needs! My 18 month old boy goes there too and I really appreciate the work they do to nourish their independence and encourage their growth! He also loves his teachers and is always happy when he gets there. I highly recommend FCH!
Not recommended if your child has processing/behavioral issues. My son is 3 and has had trouble socializing with other children since he was younger. He's particular about certain things and has struggled being in daycare because of this. They knew this from before he started and assured it wouldn't be a problem. After a couple months the director started saying "His teacher said she is going to quit because of him." To me that's just unprofessional...the school itself isn't bad. The kindergarten and prek teacher are good and their curriculum is great.
Both of our children have had such a positive experience at FCH! The teachers are so loving and helpful and we have watched our children’s education grow and thrive!
Our 5 years old boy and girl twins attended the Kindergarten class with Ms Mattheis for 6 months. They have learned so much about Science, Maths, handling emotions, social skills, reading, vocabulary, and absolutely love it there! This has been only possible with the solid support from the school staff, especially from Ms Mattheis. We loved the fact that they don't force 2 hour nap/quiet mat time on kids as has been our experience with many other pre-schools. The 2-hour nap/mat time allows the other pre-schools to cut costs. We have been very-very happy. Just wish the kids had joined the school earlier!
All 4 of my children have been going to This school over the past 5 years and we can’t recommend it enough! The staff here is like family and love on all of the children so much! Love this school!
