I know it's free but a bag of rotten chicken legs spoiled stinks and this food bank was a waste of time,bus money and food. Once a month are you kidding me???? Got 2 bags of onions that were sprouting don't need and can't use they put in 4 teeny tiny loose potatoes. Freezer burnt chicken. Sardines/ and trail mix (i have allergies can't eat). A can of corn green beans and peas so basically nothing I can use. I was extremely in need of some thing to eat! I tried to talk to the man giving the food out and he was very rude. I have "Severe health issues" and recently lost my job.i feel bad for others who have kids or need the help...sorry but once a month. Some one else could have used the food I could not use. WHY WAS I given two bags of onions!!!👎👎 Also there are tons of homeless people in the area who use food banks. So the people distributing food should also acknowledge they can't cook. This is the worst one I ever been to and in such a poor area of Cleveland where people need help and resources. If the organization wants to help then they should acknowledge peoples individual needs. I tried to speak with the man giving it out and was trying to tell him I have a husband and a son he did not care at all. What a shame 🤬
This place has a lot of community resources and assistance. The staff is super friendly and down to earth!!
Highly disappointed in my recent interactions with a decision maker from this organization. I also work for a non-profit assisting individuals with disabilities to secure employment. I was unable secure a space with Friendly Inn Settlement without monetary payment to use it for 1 hour in my attempt to assist that individual with disabilities to job search.
I can't believe Friendly Inn Settlement House are not upgrading their bathrooms I wish they get new soap dispensers If I could I would definitely help here with this 🙋🏾👊🏽🙄 Plus I really and truly want them to give out some hygiene and household cleaners at their food pantry And they don't even respect people who don't eat meat..... They still give meat They should just have a surplus of produce on hand
Just wanted to say ThAnK you for being so helpful when we visited your facility the other day! We were told about you at Y-Haven and were pleasantly surprised at how kind everyone was. Great experience receiving much needed food. Thank you again.
