This has been our first positive daycare experience. As a foster parent, you get to see a lot of environments where the focus is on the money and the max number of children that can fit in a room. Fresh Start Learning Academy has always made it apparent that their focus is on each individual child's needs. From the small group sizes, a clean environment that promotes sensory and imaginative play, socializing, teacher to parent communication; it is all seen here. The staff are professional and clear with their communication and the daily reports are helpful for understanding what happened throughout the day. It is rare that we don't see a picture of our child doing a craft or activity or just enjoying her day. Most importantly, our child thrives here and she loves it.
Staff is very friendly, professional, experienced overall a clean environment. When looking for a daycare, I looked to see how my child is going to be taking care of on a day-to-day basis as if the child is at home with me. I also look for a learning environment just not a babysitter. Fresh start provided everything that I needed and wanted for my child. I definitely give it a five star rating.
A great center: They've truly been a life saver and it's been great to watch our kiddo blossom there. The staff truly care about the children and families. Over the past 3 years, my kid has learned so much- there's a big emphasis on play and social/emotional learning, which has been shown (through research) to be most important for young children. My kid is excited to go to school every day.
My family has been with Fresh start for over 7 years now, they have cared for my nieces and nephew and now caring for my own children. The staff and admin love the children as if they were their own and the communication is phenomenal! We are so lucky to have them and know that our children are safe.
Love this center! The owner cares so much about the children. She always has something special planned for the kids and families. I own a juice cafe and she has ordered fresh pressed juice for the kids and parents multiple times. It’s such a warm welcome to walk in and have fresh juice offered.
