I had my kiddo there temporarily for 6 months while he was on another list for a different daycare. I had multiple complaints. 1. You can't go pick up your kid. You never see the state of the rooms. 2. My son started talking a lot more harshly because the teachers there scream at the kids and tell them to shut up. 3. The center floods when there is heavy rain. I'm pretty sure there is mold there. Since then I've heard other complaints from parents on negligence, the center not providing food and actual physical abuse. Avoid.

I just want to start off with the fact that online reviews are not always accurate, I honestly take them with a grain of salt. You have to actually call and go to this place and see for yourself in person. Looking for quality Daycare is not easy as parents and we want the best for our kids. I originally was looking at a TOP of the line daycare in oakfleaf area that online reviews recommended. Their website and reviews showed that they provide the best educational and fun place, plus more for your child Although, the fees were from 200-300 a week for one child I was told it was worth. I went on a tour at this daycare in oakleaf and it looked REALLY nice, it had TONS of educational toys and and art and fun schedules, but when I went into the kids room I saw the kids quietly playing alone with fancy toys and the daycare worker/teacher was sitting at the table on her phone not paying any attention to the kids. Thats not what I'm looking for in a Daycare. ***When I found Fox Meadows Christian Daycare I wanted to check it out since it was close to my home. When I got there They were very welcoming and eager to answer any and all of my questions. I saw other teachers playing with kids, other kids playing with each other and a few kids glued to the teacher that was showing us around and answering our questions. It was charming how much the kids adored and looked up to their teacher. This showed me that the kids here receive the attention they need, the care, support and guidance along with fun and engaging interaction with other kids. I felt comfortable and happy there and I already have recommended this daycare to a few of my neighbors.

From my experience the owner and the staff do not have efficient communication, they have shown themselves to be negligent, and lack empathy. About two weeks ago my child just about had his eye taken out with a big welt and scar literally centimeters from his eyeball and not a single staff member nor the owner knows what happened. An incident report was written after I brought this to their attention; with the owner saying he would look into it and I have yet to receive an answer, they do not know what happened. All the while the owner telling me it would not happen again and they would keep a better eye on him. Well two weeks later it happened again, my child this time has a welt near his left eye and a scratch under the welt and not a single staff member nor the owner knows what happened, it happened on the playground. To make the situation worse their were four staff members on the playground and no one saw what happened, this is a A CLASSIC case of negligence. Obviously I was very upset nobody told us what happened, I noticed when I picked my child up. Talking with the owner and staff about these two incidents they displayed a lack of urgency and lack of empathy. I filed a complaint against them. In my experience the price is reflective of the care they will extend to your child. If possible I would recommend finding another school with better communication, cameras, and safety procedures to care for your children; it may cost more but your children's safety is worth it.

My son attends VPK here and at first I was hesitant after an altercation with one of the workers whom didnt know how to speak to adults regarding their children. However, after resolving the issue with the owner Rick we have had had nothing but good things to say. Now our son loves attending school. Mr.Rick is the nicest man and will go out of his way to help the families attending with anything possible. As we address facing hardship with my wife medically separating from the navy he is offering us resources to use as we will be with out a paycheck for a month. Such as allowing our son to stay longer hours to take care of things ***** I am unsure how this review was even left as this is far from how I feel regarding this establishment. The Owner Rick is extremely rude and unresponsive when attempting to speak with him regarding the numerous issues that my son had here. Not only was he absolutely petrified going here towards the end (as this was right before covid and everything shut down) he would beg me not to go every morning. The reviews regarding them not supplying food is absolutely true... my son would be in tears when I picked him up in the afternoon, I had to bring a snack with me every day. They were also very unresponsive when we attempted to speak with them regarding the numerous incidents that happened to him almost weekly it seemed. They would consistently make comments regarding how they had gay friends and how Rick's son best friend was gay. It was due to us having an issue regarding how they handled our son's adhd by sitting him in a corner away from the other students as well as put folders up around him "to help with keeping him from getting distracted" per the staff. When we asked if this had any anything to do with our son being mixed or us being gay those were the statements we received after asking this. Cuz you know everyone has a gay black friend these days. πŸ˜„

My experience with fox meadows day care was dissatisfaction. I was recommended by a friend who knows the owner Rick. I filled out an application for a job. Pat interviewed me and it seemed that she wanted to hire me. Her boss was very unprofessional in that i called a few days later asking if they were going to hire me. He refused to give me a answer only that Pat would call me back right away. it's been 2 weeks and I am still waiting for a call back. Man up and be a considerate give a answer one way or the other. Very inconsiderate. And not professional..
