I came to this church genuinely seeking community, spiritual growth, and deeper engagement in my faith. Unfortunately, my experience over time has been consistently disappointing and discouraging. While I did appreciate the Bible study itself—particularly the analytical and structured way Scripture was examined—nearly every other aspect of engagement has been marked by poor communication and lack of follow-through. I attempted to sign up for baptism through the church’s online system and received only an automated response, with no follow-up. I later spoke directly with a pastor, who took my contact information but never reached out. This pattern continued repeatedly in other areas. Getting connected to a Bible study group required reaching out to multiple people across several weeks. Online sign-ups that were advertised as open resulted in no response beyond automation. (based on a conversation i had with the leaders of the group, i believe the person in charge of the groups withheld information because she deliberately did not want me to join. when i spoke to the leaders of the group i was trying to join they were shocked that she had told me the group was closed and it turns out she was the one responsible for contacting me but never said anything when i asked her why i hadn't been given information she did the opposite and tried to stop me from joining.) after making multiple attempts Messages to individuals associated with the group went unanswered. When I finally connected with the group leader, I was not given basic details such as the meeting location or time, and plans to meet were repeatedly changed. The process felt unnecessarily difficult and, frankly, unwelcoming—unlike anything I’ve experienced at other churches. (it felt like i needed to be interviewed to be allowed in the group , i did address this to both leaders separately and one of the leaders did address it was a safety concern to meet new people, while safety can be a concern it should not be obvious and discouraging to newcomers or people interested. I met the criteria for the group and that's all that should have mattered.) This lack of follow-through extended beyond that experience. I was told I would be added to a group chat and never was. (i asked 4 times and they just made a new one and told me now they were going to add me forreal since they got to know me ..?) I was invited to a holiday event, confirmed my interest, and then received no further response (by a leader of the group). These repeated lapses create a sense of being overlooked and make it hard to feel valued or included. (the only thing that has been consistent is them being inconsistent and not keeping their word.) Additionally, I’ve found the sermons to be quite superficial. Messages often feel repetitive and short, with a large portion of the service dedicated to music rather than substantive teaching. While worship through music is important, I personally was hoping for deeper, more challenging sermons. I also explored the Spanish service online and found the tone of the preaching concerning. The use of frequent jokes—particularly around alcohol and partying—felt inappropriate and distracting from the message. It raised questions for me about the example being set from the pulpit and whether the focus aligned with living a godly life. Overall, I am deeply disappointed. This church is conveniently located for me, and I truly wanted it to be a place where I could grow and build community. Instead, the ongoing lack of communication, inconsistency, and failure to follow through have created a sense of distrust. If basic commitments like baptism requests or group coordination cannot be reliably handled, it makes it difficult to feel confident about broader responsibilities, including stewardship and transparency. I sincerely hope the church reflects on how newcomers are supported and whether its actions align with the values it seeks to represent.

The doors were wide open during youth group, so we figured it was okay to play basketball. Instead, we got kicked out by people who clearly forgot what “everyone’s welcome” is supposed to mean. The church talks about love and community, but the attitude says judgment and control. If you’re looking for genuine kindness or real faith, look somewhere else cause this place just plays pretend on Sundays.

If you need a great place to worship this is the place. Pastor Luis is amazing! His words and humor make church fun and understanding.

Beautiful church. We were there for a funeral, and the feel of the church was comforting.
