We have been at foundations since Dec 2020, and I have to say these past 4 months have been the best in our time here. We have seen foundations through being sold to a corporation, multiple admin changes, and questionable hiring practices in 2023. The current administration is doing such a great job. The communication has never been better, the events and special touches remind me of when we first started. The parent engagement seminars are a great resource. The director greets parents daily even if she is in her office. You can tell she really cares and will make the time to discuss issues or concerns. In the past, I have voiced my opinions about the ratio of teachers to children and while they were within the state guidelines, it just seemed chaotic. The previous administration gave excuses, while I feel the current administration has acted. Over the last few months the ratio is very good with only 10-15 kids in my child’s current class. The facilities are top notch, the teachers are great, and the administrators are doing a fantastic job with communication.

We absolutely love Foundations for the Future School in Kennesaw! We made the transition from having a nanny to becoming a daycare family this summer, and I was honestly nervous about how it would go — especially with two kids. But Nicole, the director, and the entire team made it such a smooth and positive experience. They helped us work through nap time adjustments and separation anxiety with so much patience and care. Every morning, we’re greeted by friendly faces who genuinely know and care about our kids. The teachers go above and beyond — they even have special classes each week for science, art, and I am sure there are more. Even the 1- and 2-year-old rooms, which I think is just incredible that they get these perks at a young age. They also send photos and videos throughout the day, and honestly, it melts my heart seeing our kids learning, laughing, and having so much fun. The covered outdoor playground is another huge perk. Even on rainy or super-hot days, the kids still get to play and burn off energy, which makes such a difference in their happiness. I truly can’t imagine our kids anywhere else. Foundations for the Future has become an extension of our family — they are amazing! A huge thank you to the kids teachers and the administrative staff.

Beautiful school. Seemingly wonderful curriculum. However, for my 13 month old, there is 1:8. Essentially there is one teacher to eight 13 month old babies. My issue is to seemingly low commitment to excellence to ensure there is a minimum of two teachers in each classroom for accountability and best practices perspective. How can a parent trust only one source of truth? We are not willing to take that risk. However, I will revisit the school if they implement a two teacher minimum per class.

I cannot recommend this school after Cadence purchased it and put profit over children. Our first son had a mostly good experience here until the end when his safety was threatened and the state got involved with the GA PREK class. We pulled our second out after most of the staff turned over and couldn't provide the low class ratios we expected. They are also deleting reviews and have removed a compelling and trustworthy review from their Facebook page (they completely shut down reviews after this one received 30 shares). I cannot share a link in reviews, but if you search Racayra Wright Hernandez and Foundations you should be able to find it. Do your children a favor and find somewhere else.

We’ve had such a wonderful experience with FFTF! My son has been attending for over a year, starting at just 7 months old, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and education he’s received. The teachers are nurturing, caring, and truly invested in the children’s growth. The new administration has also done a fantastic job of making sure everything runs smoothly and having communication with the parents. His teacher, Ms. Miontaye, has been especially amazing—she communicates regularly, creates thoughtful lesson plans, and provides structured learning activities. We’ve seen incredible progress at home because of the foundation she’s giving him. At just 18 months, he’s identifying letters, colors, and objects—well beyond typical milestones. We are so grateful to have found a place where our son feels loved, safe, and challenged to grow every day. Highly recommend!
