We have been a part of the Foundations family for over six years and would highly recommend it to anyone!! We have become very close with a lot of the educators and families, and it truly does become a second family! When we first had our daughter, we toured a lot of different childcare centers in Casper, and Foundations was hands down the place we felt most comfortable sending our baby. We loved that the different age groups had their own separate space, and everything felt very clean, organized, and calm. They have an app for communication during the day which put my worried Momma heart as ease. They chart every meal, diaper/bathroom trip, nap, snack, ect. and you are able to message them anytime. They also share pictures and videos during the day which we love. The communication is outstanding which is very important to us. We have had so many amazing teachers over the years, I truly cannot say enough great things about the staff! The current director is absolutely amazing and has gone above and beyond to continue to keep the school the best in town! The education aspect is also something we loved about the school, as it is more evidence-based curriculum focusing on social and emotional skills. They do a lot of play-based learning, having the kids explore and be very hands on. I love how they get to learn things from each different experience or activity. My kids always looked forward to going to school and when it was time for pick up, they often didn't want to leave! I could write a novel about how much we love this school, and you truly can't go wrong sending your littles here <3
As a working parent, finding a place where I never have to worry about my child’s safety, care, and love has been life-changing. This preschool is so much more than just a daycare—it truly feels like a school. My daughter is always engaged, busy, and comes home every day with a new word, concept, or skill that amazes me. One of the biggest highlights has been how effortlessly they helped with potty training. What could have been a stressful milestone was made smooth and positive thanks to their incredible support. Beyond the learning, the friendships we’ve built with other families have been such a gift. The staff is simply the best—dedicated, caring, and exceptional in everything they do. I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for them and the peace of mind they give me every single day.
As a parent, if my child has to be in daycare, I wanted a place that would offer safety, love, and (dare I say it) the things I couldn't offer at home, if I weren't a working mom: our family is so incredibly thankful to have found Foundations. We toured dozens of facilities, at-home daycares, and explored other options before choosing a place where our little one would spend his time away from mom and dad. What sets Foundations a part is the attentiveness and caring the adults exhibit for the young children. They provide a warm, loving space where children can foster their innate interests, grow in areas they may be a little shy in, and feel happy and safe. They offer an outside space for every age group- even infants- to explore and interact with the world around them, and try to get the children engaged in activities by offering opportunities for them to explore in nuance. I also have been so impressed by the communication we have received any time a concern, or issue arises. They are often proactive and have even provided resources for us as new parents when we are struggling with behaviors, or worry about whether or not we are "getting it right". This is the place for our guy that feels like home away from home. So much so that we have even stayed after pick-up to explore the toddler studio with our son, or play outside with him in the sandbox. We always feel welcome to spend time there with our boy.
We absolutely love Foundations. Our son started there when he was 4 months old and we get daily updates not only throughout the day of diaper changes, naps, and feedings but they share photos and snapshots of their day. With these snapshots they include education for us about why they are doing that and development stages which is amazing for us to have consistency at home. You’re able to see where your money is going because the building and classrooms are well taken care of and maintained as well as continuous engaging materials provided even within an infant classroom. The teachers are amazing and friendly and always tell us in person about his day. You can tell that they truly care and love their students and the families. We are so happy to be able to trust someone so completely with our son and know he’s getting the best experiences.
Foundations has been an important part of our family’s life for several years and we could not be happier with the quality of child care. First, I appreciate that I can drop off and not worry about the safety of my child. Going to work without having to stress about the wellbeing of my children has been incredibly helpful. The staff is trustworthy, transparent, and care about my children. They know the personality of each child and help them grow in their confidence. On top of that, the staff are supportive of parents and the work they are putting in to various aspects of life like potty training or managing a household. It’s always a good feeling when your children are excited to go to daycare, which is exactly the experience we’ve had. As far as the curriculum, we specifically chose Foundations for the play based learning. We have seen nothing but success by allowing our children to play and learn through play. There have been times when our children come home speaking about a subject (bugs, weather, sink/float, cities/towns, sewing) and I’ve asked “where did you learn about that?” They excitedly always say school, which is exciting for them to be learning skills that they would otherwise not have until later. With a transition to kindergarten, our child has done well and continues to have positive reports in his educational attainments. We are so grateful for the teachers and the environment of Foundations. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a loving, child-led, and calming environment for your children.
