My daughter attended Foundation Academy for about two months, and we had a mix of positive and negative experiences. Positives: Her teacher, Miss Summer, was absolutely fantastic — caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children. I could always tell when Miss Summer was there because my daughter had great days and I felt confident she was being well cared for. Negatives: Unfortunately, we had several ongoing issues with management and overall cleanliness. For example, my daughter’s shoe went missing for nearly a month and was later found in another classroom. This happened because she often had to switch rooms in the mornings due to the center not being fully staffed when it opens at 6:30 a.m. Many times, she had to sit at the front desk or go into another classroom, which raised concerns for me about increased germ exposure. Cleanliness and communication were the biggest problems. During our short time there, my daughter experienced multiple illnesses, including two hospital stays and several respiratory infections. The Georgia Department of Health even confirmed that daycares are required to follow certain sanitation standards for shared toys and classroom hygiene, and I didn’t feel confident that those were being followed consistently. When I asked management how often toys were cleaned, I was told “at the end of the day,” which didn’t seem sufficient for an infant/toddler setting. Communication through the parent app was also inconsistent. If Miss Summer wasn’t present, I wouldn’t receive updates, messages, or even photos — despite being told they would post throughout the day. On one occasion, my child was given a brand of diaper I had specifically noted she was allergic to because no one had communicated that she was out of diapers. Additionally, illness notifications were only posted on classroom doors rather than being sent out digitally, which created safety and health concerns for families who rely on others for drop-off and pickup. Overall, while Miss Summer was wonderful and clearly cares about the children, the center’s management, communication, and hygiene practices need serious improvement. I would recommend Foundation Academy only if those issues are addressed and staffing becomes more consistent.

I decided to remove my son from Foundation Academy due to repeated instances of unexplained bruising, biting, and nail marks on his skin over the past three months. Prior discussions with a teacher regarding these incidents yielded little insight, as she seemed either unaware or untruthful about the occurrences. My son, generally well-behaved, has recently exhibited behavioral problems such as biting, which I strongly suspect is a result of learned behavior, indicating that he may have adopted negative habits, or he may be mimicking behavior, and raising concerns about the standard of care provided. I would not recommend Foundation Academy as a daycare option.

My daughter attended Foundation Academy for a month and a half before I pulled her out due to her constantly getting sick. I believe this daycare doesn't practice proper hygiene and sanitation procedures.

Hailey Sanford is the best. Her patience and attentiveness are unmatched. She took the time to get to know our daughter and shows how much she cares and values her. Reece Stuart has been our daughter's teacher for a while and we could not be more pleased with the care our daughter receives under her guidance. She loves going to daycare everyday. It's clear she goes above and beyond to create a positive environment for her to learn in and go to everyday.

Haley took incredible care of our baby! Our sweet boy was very attached to us and had a little bit of a tough transition from staying home with us for so long. Haley helped us so much and made him feel comfortable which allowed us to find comfort in dropping him off. He loves her so much and she makes his day! She looked after our baby boy so well we even asked about potential baby sitting in the future. Haley is an amazing worker, person and caretaker. We appreciate more than we could ever express!
