What a wonderful place to be a member at the Forsyth County Family YMCA! The staff is very kind, very welcoming, and very nice. Personal trainers here are very hospitable, and always most efficiently with incredible positivity right from the start to establish your personal fitness goals based on how you feel, and help you track progress instead of just weight. Their pools is very beautiful and very inviting. It is always crystal clear whenever I've been there. ! In addition, and it has also been a great help that the most wonderful lifeguard staff has taken the time out of their busy day to give me advice with how to position my hands and feet in the pool to help me improve my swimming strokes and gain more confidence in the water. Thank you so much for that! In the future, I will definitely continue to frequent the Forsyth County Family YMCA for their most kind staff and excellent facilities. Thank you!
I recently had a fantastic experience at the Family YMCA. The facility offers private rooms for families at the swimming pool, providing a convenient and comfortable space. We love the Y! It offers lots of great locations, wonderful staff and programs galore. We have been members for 25+ years and continue to use our membership regularly.
Classes are okay except for many of them omit the cool down. I guess they expect you to cool down on your own on your way to your car?? The people at the front desk are an unfriendly bunch. They rarely smile and sometimes are very rude. I've received attitude from them. If you can't be courteous, you should not be manning the front desk. I recommend the Alpharetta Y. They always greet me with a smile. Every class I take at the Alpharetta Y ends the class with a cool down and stretching.
I really enjoy working out at this YMCA. They have plenty of well-maintained machines, and the staff are always friendly and efficient. My daughter has made tremendous progress in swimming thanks to the dedicated and supportive instructors who lead the classes here. I would gladly recommend this center to any of my friends.
