Footsteps-Mother'S Day Out

We couldn’t be happier to have found Beehive for our daughter. From the very beginning, it’s been clear that this is so much more than just a preschool- it’s a welcoming, supportive community. The play-based, child-led approach has been incredible for her development, inspiring her curiosity and love for creating, while also giving her the space to explore and grow at her own pace. The teachers are truly outstanding- knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly dedicated. They take the time to really get to know each child, designing experiences that nurture their interests while gently encouraging new skills and independence. The director is equally wonderful, always approachable and deeply involved in the day-to-day life of the school, which creates such a strong sense of connection. The co-op model has been such a gift to our family, allowing us to actively participate in her education and get a meaningful glimpse into her school experience. It’s also helped us form lasting relationships with other families, which has been an unexpected joy. Our daughter absolutely loves the before-school Spanish program and the after-school Sparkle Studio — they’ve been such fun extensions of her day. As we look ahead to kindergarten, we feel incredibly confident and grateful knowing she’s had such a thoughtful, nurturing foundation here. Beehive is a truly special place, and we can’t recommend it highly enough.

I am so thankful that we found Beehive for our daughter! This is her third year attending Beehive and she absolutely loves spending every single day with her friends and teachers. She has a blast, gets messy, creates something new every day, problem solves with her friends, and plays, plays, plays - all while learning invaluable social and emotional skills, communication and collaboration skills, and positive characteristic traits that will last a lifetime! Beehive’s student-led, play based model centered around an incorporated curriculum was exactly what we wanted for our third kiddo. Our teachers and director are the best! They are knowledgeable, positive, fun, creative, and dedicated to supporting all of the children. I love spending a couple of days per month helping out at the school and playing with our daughter and the other children. It builds a strong sense of community and fosters our co-op philosophy. Our family highly recommends Beehive and the community will always hold a special place in my heart.

Our family loves Beehive!! I love how the play based model that feels like hidden veggies in a yummy pasta! They think their just playing but also learning so much in a gentle and fun environment! The teachers are sweet, responsive, and really get to know your kid. And I love the parent involvement. In a world that gets so busy, Beehive feels like a village where we get to be together raising our children with a common goal.

We actually went to a different preschool before switching to Beehive and we will say that Beehive is hands-down the best preschool in the area, the teachers are gentle with the kids and really teach them how to self regulate as well as learn how they can be kind to others, which is so important at this age. It is a preschool that is run like a co-op but different than what I thought, they have full-time teachers but then the parents will take turns being the teacher assistant. This way you get to know all of your childs friend circle and you are deeply involved in The school community. They make it so easy, and I couldn’t imagine a better school system I also get to be involved. Also the teachers are super attentive to the needs Individually and have given us great advice on how to help Them succeed. They encourage creative play and include a healthy dose of outside play as well.

We have had an incredible experience a Beehive Co-op. We were looking for a play based school program with lots of outdoor time, strong social emotional learning skills, and research based. It's surpassed our expectations. Our son adores his teachers, and we are so grateful to be a part of such a warm and supportive community.
