Foothill Progressive Montessori School

We are very happy with the care that our daughter receives at Foothill Progressive Montessori School. They offer a good balance between fun and educational activities. The teachers, assistants and administrators are always very caring and willing to help all of the children even if they aren’t in their class. We are especially appreciative of Ms. Raquel and Ms. Angelica. The school also hosts many activities and events for the children and invites parents to participate in many of them. Overall, we would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality preschool.

From the moment we walked into this school three years ago until now, we've had nothing but a great experience. It has been amazing to see how quickly our child adapted to the new school and the progress he’s made in all aspects of child development. Ms. Kanthi has a great team of teachers, and our child's teachers, Ms. Fatema, Ms. Kim, and Ms. Su, know how to work with children based on their personalities and abilities to take them to the next level gradually without causing any stress to them. Ms. Fatema's science classes and Ms. Kim's art classes are fantastic, and these have become our child's favorite days of the week at school. The Montessori method of teaching and the teachers' experience make a huge difference, and I highly recommend checking out this school if you’re doing research for your child.

If you are looking for a trusted preschool that will provide equivalent care and nurturing as home, academic progression along with fun environment, then look no further. I had both of my girls attend this preschool and I have nothing but amazing things to share about the staff, program, and the culture. I cannot be thankful enough!

My son has been attending this preschool for 2 years (2022-2024). When I first visited the school, it was during the peak of COVID. The school was very clean, and I felt they were very careful about COVID. I loved the backyard, the bright classroom, and the students' smiling faces. It made me decide to send my son to this school. All the teachers love their students and work at each child's pace. The school decorates the front gate for monthly events or themes, and I enjoyed each event, like Valentine's Day, Easter, Halloween, and the end of the year. The summer school schedule was fun for my child, and the graduation ceremony and concert in May were very touching for me. I could see how hard the teachers worked to prepare, and I could feel their care in every class and event. The school offers special classes; my son attended art and science classes, which he really loved and enjoyed. He brought his amazing artwork home, and I could see his development every week. He was also excited to recreate what he did in science class at home. I cannot forget the potluck times at the school. Every family brought food and shared it in the backyard. Thinking of those memories always makes me feel warm and happy. One more important thing: the school has a great surrounding environment. There is no major road directly in front of it, making it safe. One side of the school is next to a quiet residential area. Near the gate, there is a city hall with a small park where my child could play after school, and we enjoyed having simple snacks there. Additionally, there is a small mall nearby, providing the convenience of having dinner or buying necessities before heading home. I regret that I cannot share the thousands of school photos, but my phone gallery is filled with pictures of the children, including my son, with their happy smiles. I feel very lucky that my son has met good teachers and made good friends. I hope that his positive experience at his first school will have a lasting positive impact on his future school life. Ms. Kanthi and all teachers, As I mentioned before, we will always remember this special time. Saying goodbye is never easy, but we are leaving with hearts full of gratitude and happy memories. I had my kids in the school for 3 years until we moved to Florida. I had my daughter in the school since she was age 3 til 6 1/2 and then my son from 2 until 3 1/2. They LOVED the school and the staff. The program was amazing. Now with them enrolled in school here in Florida, they did all their testing and school higher than any other student of the same age that came from any other school. The new school was so impressed with the kids education, manners, ability to follow directions. I can say that as a Mother, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone and know that the teachers are like 2nd moms to the kids.
