The school provides a very calm experience overall. It started with Ms Iona on the phone. I called from another continent and she welcomed me as if I was nextdoor and made everything smooth and easy for our family. Ms Aisheka I cannot thank you enough for your kind and understanding attitude- also loving, and as a mother I felt my child is emotionally safe with your professional expertise. The Rainforest classroom at FLMA has been a wonderful fit for my daughter. The learning environment is calm and engaging. My daughter has learned so much in the past 10 months that she has been attending. The director and all of the teachers and support staff are warm, respectful, and responsive to all questions and concerns. The primary teacher in the Rainforest classroom, Ms. Asheka, is my daughter's favorite. She is clearly passionate about teaching. She meets each student at their unique level and creates the "just right" level of difficulty for each student. She is very in tune with her students and cares for them deeply as people. Highly recommend FLMA to any family!
I am so glad that I found this Montessori school. The teachers provide a warm, nurturing environment and an amazing academic program for the children. Most importantly, they are trustworthy. There are fun school events the school organizes throughout the year and parents participation is always welcome(I have joined on several occasions). As the lead infant teacher and a parent at this school, I get to see the amazing work done here every day. My own daughter is in the toddler room, and it has been incredible to watch her blossom. She used to be a quiet little girl, but she has truly come out of her shell and now loves learning. The creative activities that Ms. Cecily and Mrs. Lily put together on a daily basis have made such a difference. Of course, her favorite part is outdoor time, and she absolutely adores her teachers.
We love the staff and teachers at Folsom Lake Montessori. Our kids have been here since they were young toddlers and the bonds they’ve built with the teachers over the years is priceless. They learn so much and are always happy to be at school.
