Loving, inclusive people. Christ centered. A "doing" church where everyone gets involved in large and small service projects. I absolutely LOVE the vibe!
My family cannot say enough good things about Floris and everyone who works, volunteers and visits here. Floris has become one of our favorite places. It is like a home away from home. They really welcome you in and treat you like family. Barbara Miner is Awesome!!! Come and check it out and if you can't make it in person watch from afar. My parents watch it every Sunday and they are in Pa.
Great place to worship! I really enjoyed listening to the pastor's message.
This is truly a church for everyone. Once you enter the building you are greeted by a member of the church and made to feel very welcomed. It's not a phony gesture. They are glad to see you. The pastors are unique in that they are accepting of all people and set a wonderful example for their staff and parishioners. Their all-inclusive philosophy is special. They not only preach total acceptance of ALL people, they humbly walk the walk. The lead pastor, Tom Berlin, is a humble and awesome man of God. His sermons are very interesting and unique. He educates people in his sermons, but doesn't talk down to you. His services are exciting and he regularly encourages parishioner participation. If you can't attend services in person, utilize their live stream access on their website.
Attended a wonderful Christmas concert, including handballs and an orchestra, a children's choir, and a choir that could blast us out of our seats! There were also readings and cookies beforehand! What a lovely tribute to the season!
