I've been with the Job Corps program for 18 years. It is one of the best programs for youth 16 to 24 to get a Certified trade and lead a self-sufficient life! Flint has one of the best centers of 119 centers throughout the United States. In addition to training, they provide stable housing, full meals, a support system and bi-weekly pay. Tuition free!!

My girl miss bentley the bomb she has been so genuine since day one ! I’m glad I came to jobcorps me personally it has been an experience I WONT FORGET . When I went to job corp it was nothing but wonderful. All the staff were really helpful & caring . Of course my lovely lady Ms. Bentley made my time at job corp even more worth attending. She’s really kind & sweet.

Flint Genesee Job Corps is both an inspiring and mutually successful program! I have watched and been privileged to play a role in the lives of young people, to improve for the better. I have witnessed students come in with an 8th grade education and exit the program, transitioning into their sophomore year at the University of Michigan-Flint through our ACT program! Students who have never been outside of their city, have received their CDL's or signing bonuses to increase their knowledge base, through Advanced training programs out of state...to either train/work to fly drones in NY or drive trucks in New Mexico! Students with nowhere to go and no family, get here, start to believe in themselves and leave with careers to support themselves and build a life! This is also attributed to the staff here who go above and beyond, as if this place is extended family or a 2nd home. Imperfect, as it may be, there is a reason we are a top 15 performing center! #CareersBeginHere
