Aimee robbed us of our registration fee! We took a tour, and I gave her the check and enrolled my son before we left the building. He was supposed to start the following week. I emailed Aimee and called multiple times to ask what the total deposit would be to bring a check. I see that the registration check was CASHED!! She NEVER returned a single phone call. She eventually responded to one email, a month later, weeks after cashing my check, saying, "where did we leave off?". She knew, all of the emails and calls. I called the center for the 10th time letting them know it was fraud, I would be opening a report with my bank, and I still never got a call back. She STOLE my money. God only knows what goes on in this center. If you have any concerns, or something happens, or doesn't seem right, don't count on them sharing it with you. For a daycare who relies on reviews and reputation, she is bonified nuts. She to this day has not returned my money, and blew off my family after saying my son could start the following week. This was in August 2023. Bizarre, you've been warned!
From the beginning of our child's experience at Flanders Valley, my husband and I could not have been more pleased! Miss Aimee and her staff view each child's needs based upon that child's development and not simply upon age. Our child has been at FVCDS since she was 18 months old and we have seen her grow and flourish there. She began kindergarten fully prepared, and loves to return to FVCDS in the afternoons to see the staff and okay with friends.
I have called this place twice, left voicemails, filled out the online form and sent an email and have heard nothing back. They have a sign that says "accepting enrollments" but they don't answer their phones or respond to inquiries. Needless to say, I won't be enrolling my child here since they don't seem to want my business! Sad, since they're directly down the street from my house.
we have been so pleased with our experience and with all the staff at Flanders Valley Country Day. They have gone above and beyond to care for our children and the education they have received there is extraordinary. My grade school aged child loves summer camp and all the activities!
It seemed my kid was being watched by kids. I was tired of picking him up with snot cemented to his nose and face that was never wiped once during or after playing outside in the cold. Or coming home with a full lunch box and wondering what he ate all day. It's the only daycare hes ever went to that I feel he didnt learn anything at all. The owner was helpful.
