What Parents Say
First United Methodist Preschool receives overwhelmingly positive reviews, with parents praising the caring staff, strong communication, and family-like atmosphere. Most reviewers report their children thrived academically and emotionally. However, one parent raised serious concerns about security protocols, unfulfilled promises, playground conditions, and a concerning incident with staff handling.
I am a crazy paranoid mother, I do not let my son stay with anyone but my mom so daycare searching was not easy for me. I was so nervous to leave my son here but soon after he started it was a few rough days at first but after he got comfortable it was great! He LOVES going to school everyday and his teacher miss. Blanca and all the staff is wonderful and amazing with communication. Amy the director of the preschool is amazing - my sons first two weeks she texted me all throughout the day keeping me updated with my son. I highly recommend this preschool to everyone. I love how it feels more like a family than just a place you leave your child during the day. I feel so comfortable leaving my son and do not have to worry about anything.
I love it! This preschool was HIGHLY recommended by multiple people so My husband and I took a tour of the preschool prior to having our daughter and I liked how the kids there were always happy, the teachers are always friendly and courteous. My daughter has now been there since she was 6weeks old and I love it. Ms. Tina and all the lady's take such great care of her. It shows that she is loved there. I have already started recommending this preschool to friends who are pregnant and/or have little ones.
My child attended this preschool since he was 1 and 1/2 years old and still at 9 continues to return for summer camps. I have always felt that Sebastian has felt loved and is totally safe at this daycare. When he went to kindergarten he was in an advanced class due to the teachings at fump. He always enjoyed the outings they went on such as going to get ice cream or visiting the elderly. The director always made me feel like my child was a priority and the teachers always gave my son lots of love. I a talky plan on working there part time when I retire if the director will let me!
My children were involved in activities with this preschool for many years and had nothing but wonderful experiences there. They have a staff that truly cares about the well being of each and every child in their care. As a teacher, I have been very fortunate to have several of the preschool graduates attend my school. All were above where we expected them to be academically when they entered kindergarten. Amy McGlynn does a fantastic job as a director helping her teachers meet all of the learning needs of her students. I would and have highly recommenddd this facility to other parents as a place for care, love and learning.
Miss Amy and all the ladies at first united Methodist pre school and daycare are so wonderful with my boys. My boys have been going there since they were babies. My youngest is 8 now. They are so kind and loving. They are always respectful and good hearted. I trust them with my life. My children.
