First United Methodist E C C

This is an extension of my house because I definitely feel at home here. I am surrounded by wonderful people that I have begun to consider family. I love that there is plenty of opportunity to be involved if I want to be. The youth group is exceptional. They do lots of mission trips and random acts of kindness. They meet multiple time a week. The children's ministry has Sunday school and choir weekly. There is a huge VBS usually during the last week of July. Kids going into 3rd - 6th grade have the opportunity to go to Camp Egan every summer. There have been parents nights out in the past. Once a child starts 3rd grade they can become acolytes. There is so much more I could list ( the music department, adult Sunday school classes, services, etc) but I feel like this is already too lengthy.

Went to a funeral and the church is great and the people are nice. Couldn't find a single tissue, but that is my only problem.

This wonderful church family has embraced us and our daughter. Pastor Kyle is amazing to listen to and Pastor Cindy worked great with the 6th graders in Confirmation class!!!

My grandkids went to preschool there. The Christmas Program is fun. They have the kids write a Letter to Santa and post them. Some of the wants are hilarious!!

They have been known to be extremely rude to the homeless community here. I feel bad for all the homeless people, yet this church and the people apart of it believes they are better. Not the church I'd suggest going to.
