Two of our kids have attended this preschool (as well as the Parent's Day Out Program) and I can't speak highly enough about our experience. The co-op model is amazing. It gave my husband and I the opportunity to participate in our kids' learning experience while still receiving the high-quality childcare we needed for our work schedules. And I cannot say enough about how caring and kind the staff and teachers are. What a gift this preschool has been for our family. Highly recommend!
We love FUMC's Co-Op Preschool! The teachers are wonderful and being in the classroom with the preschoolers on my "work days" is so much fun! My son loves the experiential/ play-based curriculum. It's also great that they offer a Nursery to care for my younger ones while I am helping out, and the ladies who work in the nursery are awesome as well.
We are so glad to have found FUMC Preschool! This is the second year that my daughter has attended this school and our experience has been truly amazing. I love the Co-op model there because it allows me to be involved in my daughter's education while also keeping our school costs down. Her teachers, Mrs. Elliott (last year) and Mrs. Bedard (this year) are truly kindhearted and loving people that also happen to be phenomenal educators. They have worked hard to ensure that the projects and activities laid out for the kids are always age-appropriate and inspire lots of creativity and imagination. This school also has creative movement and music time that are lots of fun for the little ones too. The director, Laura, is so personable and wonderful with all the children. She is always very visible around the school and is always available when I've had questions. This preschool is located inside of a church, but the program is not highly religion based. The kids say a simple prayer prior to snack time (so sweet!) and the Christmas and Easter celebrations are emphasized with themed activities and crafts. I would highly recommend this preschool to any parents looking for a high-quality early childhood education experience for their child. My daughter has been well-prepared for kindergarten next fall in this warm and loving environment.
We love our preschool. Great community and wonderful teachers. Our daughter has thrived in FUMC's caring play-based program. We can't imagine being anywhere else. The coop design allows us to be involved, meet other parents, and support our daughter's development. Can't say enough wonderful things!
We love the FUMC Co-op preschool! It really feels like a community instead of a school because all the families pitch in to help keep the school running smoothly. My son is thriving here in his first year and has had obvious social & language development in the play-based atmosphere. He is happy when he finds out it is a preschool day and is alway so excited to tell me about what he did in class. We are our looking forward to our second year this coming fall and my son is ready to be a "big pre-K kid" :-)
