FUMC CDC has been the best decision we have made for our toddler! My son has grown up in the daycare from infants, through the crawler room, and now in toddlers. Constantly I see the learning and development this center is helping with and along the way the employees have become like family. My son is always in a better mood when we pull up to "school" and has never been unhappy to enter the doors. To watch the love these caregivers give to your kiddo is the best!
I was soooo nervous about sending my daughter to daycare especially being new to the area. When we got the call about a spot open for FUMC CDC I was hesitant. Thankfully we took it! The teachers are like family. You can tell how much they truly love the kids. I am so thankful that I do not have to stress about her being safe and secure. She is happy everyday to go to school.
My son has been at this center for about a year, in both the infant and crawler room. We have been SO happy with our experience at the FUMC CDC. The teachers are warm and kind to the kids, and communicate with us daily about our son's day, giving us a written report of what he ate, diaper changes, naps, and anything else we might need to know. I love that my son is excited when we arrive there in the morning and is smiling when we pick him up in the afternoon. Happy kiddo = Happy parents!
My children have been attending this school for almost two years. They have had some of the best teachers a parent could hope their child would have. I love the Christian Education aspect and that even children as young as 2 years old go to a mini-Chapel. My children come home singing songs all the time and they look forward to days that Kindermusik is coming! Friday, they had an Easter Egg Hunt for all children and all ages and it was absolutely adorable. My oldest requires more one-on-one when it comes to handwriting and has difficulty with some food, but they care for him so much that they spend time working with him and are even willing to rearrange lesson plans to fit in what will help him grow and develop. I could not imagine trusting my 3 children to another facility or staff! They are the best!!!
My children have attended the FUMC CDC Killeen over the past nine years. My daughter attended when the church was downtown, went through the transition into the new facility, and now my son will finish up next year before Kindergarten. The quality of care is top notch. The children's welfare is always top priority. The curriculum is age appropriate and they learn so much. In addition to learning basic skills, they are learning about God! They are reading Bible verses, hearing the word, and seeing the word by being in the church. They attend chapel weekly, have Kindermusik each week, and have field trips too!! I love the CDC and would highly recommend it to anyone in our area!
