We love the CDC at FUMC. The staff are so friendly and care for my children with love and grace. My oldest (now 8) attended before he started elementary school. He had a great foundation for structure and socialization that when he went to elementary school, he excelled! My youngest (now 3) currently attends the CDC. He loves his teachers and has no issues leaving my side in the mornings. The CDC provides meals and snacks, has structured play, learning and rest times. The price is very reasonable in comparison to other full time day cares and is very much worth the price. They have an online pay option that makes working with the CDC very convenient. The CDC communicates with parents daily on their child's behavior, weekly and monthly on meal plans and curriculum.
We love FUMC CDC! Both of my daughters have gone through their child care and Pre-K programs. They are fairly priced, educational, loving, and engaging. Communication between parent and staff is wonderful. I feel very involved in their care with the transparency of menus, day to day activities, and just a happy picture of my child they wanted to share. My children both have loved it and I highly recommend them to anyone interested in childcare.
Our oldest daughter attended FUMC NC PreK before she started KG and it has proven to have made a huge difference in the transition from PreK to KG. The hours mimic that of a regular school day, breakfast, lunch and snack is provided every day and they still squeeze in a little nap for the kiddos. The curriculum that is taught truly prepares them to enter KG on a higher level than most students. We loved having our oldest attend, we followed suite with our 2nd daughter, and she is currently in the NC PreK program and is excelling! The staff has been absolutely amazing and you can tell that they love these kiddos and they aren't just a "paycheck" to them. They protect, care, love, play, teach, and so much more with them, you are at ease during the day while your kid is there.
We love FUMC CDC. Every staff member is very attentive and cares for every child there. My daughter has been going here for two years, if it weren’t for her going to kindergarten next year, she would be going another year. I recommend this school to anyone who is out there looking for a school for their child.
My now 7 year old went here and currently have a child here. Cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff and program are. All the staff care deeply for the children here. The communication is great, my children both love going here and their teachers. They do a wonderful job and treat the children like family!
