What Parents Say
First United Methodist Child Care Center in Kissimmee receives consistently positive feedback from parents. Parents praise the friendly staff, quality education particularly in the VPK program, and welcoming atmosphere. The facility appears to have a waiting list due to high demand.
I’ve not had the honor of viewing the inside of this church but she is sure enough gorgeous and well maintained on the outside.
This church was a stronghold of the community for decades until current pastor took over. It had the most accomplished K-5 school in county having children way ahead of others when entering public schools. It was closed. Worshippers families dating back 100 years left church in droves because of poor leadership which shows in fact they are down to one service on Sunday and are leaving Sanctuary for smaller chapel. It’s not hard to understand when you chase away your members you can’t afford upkeep on property. My son naming many others grew up in this church and have fond memories and that’s all they are memories because it’s been destroyed as a true church.
I read all reviews, most of the reviews two to three years old. Two or three years before I have no idea, what was the condition of this school. Recently I enrolled my daughter for VPK program and she is enjoying this school. I personally spoke with teacher and I realized, they are very friendly with their students and they take care every student properly. You can say its another home for my daughter. I am really glad to enrolled my daughter to this school and I also recommend to other parents enroll your kid to this school. Thank you to school admin, teacher and all staff.
The schooling is by far five stars. We sent one of our daughters to the school for her first two years. It's hard to get in there there is a waiting list for the children. I'm not too sure about the church congregation but I do know if you are a member of the church you get a discount on schooling your child or children
On our first visit we were warmly greeted by one of the ushers who made us feel at home. The organist, choir, and pastor did a great job of conducting the traditional service, which we appreciated. We returned the next Sunday and attended a class that was equally welcoming. We feel blessed to have found a "home away from home."
