Multiple one-star reviews cite inadequate infant care, dirty facilities, staff behavior issues, and safety oversights. The facility appears to have significantly different experiences depending on the classroom or staff member.
My baby was in the infant room. I was happy that my baby was being taking care of by the teacher who is a grandmother, so she has experience and only one other baby. Awesome, she will not be ignored. Then the red flags started. When i picked my baby up from daycare they would be outside, 2 baby, 4 swings, but my baby always in her carseat. I stopped bring the carseat, wow now she is in the swing. I was told other baby was dropped off as soon as they opened. I would drop my baby at 7, he was still in his carseat too, and he was a infant when started, almost one now. They would say she is fussy for weeks and barely eats. Two teachers who take care of babies for a living stated when she is fussy " I just dont know what to do" Some days I had to pull over because she was crying from being hungry. I expressed to them she is still hungry after 4 oz and to give her 6 oz. They replyed we will give her 4 oz and if she wants more l, we will make her more. I had to pick her up because she had a accident in her clothes, they claimed she was sneezing and coming down with a bug. Took her to the Doctors, clean bill of health. The dr even stated the daycare is a red flag, if she was teething, fussy she would be fussy everywhere. She was never fussy with me, ate great. Doctor said no teeth are even coming in. So to sum it up, she was fussing because she was ignored, hungry, babies need stimulation, not just sat in a bouncer.
My son has attended three different daycares, and first united has been the best by far. The staff is amazing and understanding, taking the time to work with my son individually. I highly recommend this facility—10/10!
Very Dirty daycare they don’t clean the bathrooms and they are little ants everywhere round the building .The teachers CUSS round the little kids. all the teachers are always yelling at kids. Also A little girl almost tipped over another little girl chair just because she wanted to sit next to her friend. They even talk about the parents DONT BRING YOUR CHILD HERE
My daughter has been attending first United daycare since 2018 and she absolutely loves it. The staff is amazing, I never had a problem over the 5 years. Highly recommend
This day daycare is unacceptably unaffordable . Even if you have state insurance they charge over 300 $ extra for a monthly co pay . The administration has children in their office during periods where they are out numbered teachers vs children . Where the children are left sitting in the office chair listening to adult conversations. I recorded a child falling out of the chair while in their office . Where no one jumped to save the fall. They had a handicapped child in the room on the chair as well in another case I observed . They don’t do fun activities on special holidays and every time I picked up my daughter she was coloring or watching a vhs . The kids look unhappy and I observed a child crying in a cubby. I expressed that they could be more hands on if I’m paying such a large co pay and they only argued then to associate for a flexible payment option. I expressed that they could teach a school aged child to learn shoe tying and that was never Occomplished . They didn’t like that I voiced an opinion and told me that the children weren’t welcome anymore do to my thoughts of improving the facility . They didn’t give a heads up that it was their last day until the last day they wanted to kick us out . I also had trouble dropping my children off in the morning because the woman who buzzes you into the door was outside in her car in the parking lot smoking cigarettes. Do not bring your kids here .
