My 2 daughters have attended First Steps for the past 5 years and they have been amazing with setting them up for success for Elementary school. The staff are all friendly and communicative and treat you like family and friends. It’s been a joy!
My boys (currently age 1 & 3) have been attending First Steps since end of April 2020. The Executive & Program Director are phenomenal leaders, easing any concerns I had due to the pandemic. They are taking all precautions to keep the children and staff safe. The staff are very caring and loving and you can tell they are happy to be working with the children. My 3 year old is getting plenty of play both inside and outside and learning through the curriculum they provide. There is always communication from the staff on what is going on in the classroom and with our children. I feel very blessed that we found such a high quality faith based childcare center . It really is a hidden gem! Both my boys are thriving at First Steps. I highly recommend this daycare
My daughter started at First Steps early this year. She'd never been to daycare for, but everyone was so friendly, warm and loving that she adapted quickly. Her teachers are amazing and she always comes home so happy. They don't just let the kids run wild either, my 2 year has learned SO much since beginning here. I love the daycare family that she has and I'm so grateful that I didn't jump on the first daycare I visited. I'm so glad that we held out for this one. It's perfect.
I am extremely delighted to have transferred my son from VPK at a Lake County Florida daycare. First Steps has made a huge positive impact in my son's interest to learn, read and even give grace!! Amen to that!!! The staff is always willing to help the parents and care for the children. Extremely recommend this center to all moms/dads. I never had my son cry before for not wanting to leave a daycare as he does here! My five-year-old simply loves this place, his teachers and so do I :-)
What a fantastic experience my niece has had in her first year at First Steps Academy! She is excited to go to school, is comfortable, happy and loves her teachers. The curriculum is well rounded touching on all areas of development and the extra added activities add that much more. The Director is professional, friendly and knowledgeable.The Bright wheel App. is wonderful for communication, photos & videos throughout the day. Also, a big "Thank You" for remaining open for the Essential front line workers during the Covid 19 crisis. :)
