First School Of The Desert

My child has been here for 2 years and we absolutely love First School CC! From the front office staff to the teachers, everyone is incredible with every kid. Just to note, Miss Mayra goes above and beyond for the kids in her class. We are so grateful our daughter was in her class, she would be with Miss Mayra forever if it was up to my daughter. My daughter absolutely adores Miss Mayra.

We absolutely love First School, and I am so thankful for the amazing team who cares for my children every day. As a parent, I was very worried and anxious about enrolling my daughter and leaving her with people I didn’t know. From the very first day, Miss Nina and Miss Vanesa went above and beyond to make both of us feel welcome. Their warmth, professionalism, and clear communication immediately put me at ease and helped build trust. Miss Mayra is truly a gem and has been such a blessing to our family. My daughter instantly formed a strong bond with her, and I never had to worry about leaving her in the mornings. Miss Mayra shows genuine love, care, and patience for each child and treats them as if they were her own. The positive and nurturing environment she creates allows the children to feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Her ability to connect with kids and make learning fun has had such a positive impact on my daughter’s development — emotionally, socially, and academically. She has truly become a very special part of our lives. Although Miss Jenn is no longer at the school, I want to highlight how much she meant to our family. She was incredibly patient with my younger son, even on the most challenging days, and always kept a positive attitude. She approached every situation with kindness and professionalism, which made such a difference in his adjustment. Miss Marlene has been wonderful with my son as well. She shows so much patience, care, and consistency with the little ones, and it’s clear how much she loves what she does. Her gentle approach has helped him feel comfortable and happy at school, and we can see how much he is growing under her care. Overall, the entire team at First School has exceeded our expectations. Their dedication, patience, and passion for what they do have made such a difference for our family. We are so grateful for their hard work and the positive environment they create every single day.

My daughter attended Cathedral City location from age three until she was old enough for kindergarten. They have an open door policy which I loved and often stopped in to join my daughter for lunch. Miss Linda & Miss Mirian are awesome! Any questions I had were always answered. My daughter has great memories at first school. I loved the Christmas programs & annual family picnics. I would not hesitate to enroll my youngest daughter in the center when I return to work.

My son has Miss Linda as his teacher and we could not be happier with his experience and his progress. It is clear that she genuinely cares deeply for her students and consistently goes above and beyond to make them feel special, safe and loved. I bet that for every student she could tell you their pets' names, favorite food, what they are afraid of, etc. Miss Linda is full of energy and excitement and it rubs off on her kids. Her passion for learning is obvious and I know that she attends conferences and does a lot to stay up to date on the latest early childhood learning techniques. Miss Linda sets high standards for her students which helps them reach their potential. My son is always amazing me with the things he knows and I find myself asking "where on earth did you learn that" even though I already know the answer... Miss Linda. I have full confidence that my son will be ahead of the game when he starts kindergarten thanks to his and Miss Linda's efforts. We cannot thank her enough for everything that she has done for him. The front desk staff at First School is also very cheery and helpful. They hold nice events throughout the year including an end of the year ceremony which is always a favorite. They don't have any restrictions when it comes to treats students bring in which is normally fine, but every now then with holidays and birthdays it gets to be a little much.

First School/Cathedral City is the best .My son loves going to school each mourning. His teacher Ms Linda is all about making sure the kids come first, learning, playing and making them feel loved. My wife and I love her just as much as my son does. All the teachers and staff at First School are wonderful. Thank You for making the kids your priority.
