The facility offers multiple amenities including a gym, playground, library, and attached Montessori school.
A super solid “what we believe” section on the website. Beautiful facilities built in the 1800s. Perfect place for multigenerational worship. I love the original doxology and apostle’s creed as well. Highly recommend First Pres to anyone who wants to try traditional Protestantism. There’s also a lovely children’s sermon and they use Godly play-which I think it the best way to teach kids about the gospel. There’s also a Montessori school attached too. The faculties feature a gym, playground, classrooms, museum, library, fellowship hall, parlor, sanctuary, and a chapel. Reverand Danny Dieth is very personable and knowledgeable. The new guests are greeted with a goodie bag. I love it here and can’t say enough good things about it. We would love to see you here!
Very nice Church have watched their service on TV for years while I lived in Columbus. Now I have moved and will be viewing on computer. So glad to know I can still view their Church service. A heads up to the Pastor..Rev. Danny Dieth You are a good guy and wish there were more like you. Stay gold!
I have a lifelong love for the First Presbyterian Church. As a child, Sunday school at First Pres. was a safe, fun, even magical place. Songs and stories learned will be with me always. From childhood through high school we attended Wednesday night supper, Sunday service, many many weddings, baptisms, and funerals- all celebrating life. Thank you First Presbyterian(and my family!) for providing a place of learning values, trust, kindness, forgiveness, joy , and even humor.
Haven't been there yet, I do believe it's a great church to go to, to hear the word of the Lord also! Amen
Listen to the guest Minister Father's Day. I truly the enjoyed the service and the message.
