My family absolutely treasures the diverse teaching styles of each individual teacher. No matter what my child has struggled through, the staff here has always worked on a plan with us. We appreciate all the support they’ve given to our family. Highly recommend (especially for new parents that aren’t sure where to start like us.)
This pre-school is terrible! Like a previous post said the director is rude and condescending. They have no idea how to deal with children with any kind of big emotions or behavioral issues. Children are expected to sit still, listen and act perfectly at 3 years old. We as parents were scolded for getting our child a small toy for having a good week at school…. But “he should be expected to behave like that.” They kicked my son out on 2 occasions with no plan, no checking in or return of money. I literally cry every time I talk about this school and what they put my family and son through. We sent him to another preK and we are so thankful for teachers and a director that understood the needs of our child and how to help a child grow and learn. A place where positive reinforcement is used to reward good behaviors…and he is thriving. I also am NOT confusing your school with another school. Very aware of where I sent my son to preschool.
Both my children have now gone though PCCNS and blossomed. The class size is perfect (not too big), and the teachers and staff help make learning fun for each and every student enrolled. The reasonable rates are a huge plus too!
Sent 3 kids, 4th coming for the 2 1/2 class. We are so happy at that this school. We love that they say a prayer before snack time and do outreach projects. It’s always been a good find for us. We like the diversity of the community.
This school is terrible. The director is rude and blatantly disrespectful. She often lies to get parents not to complain. The teaching methods are severely outdated and kids are expected to sit still way too long. They also claim to be non-sectarian but lead children in daily God-centered prayer. When I informed them I was uncomfortable with my child doing the prayer they lied and said they would change to a short song. It turns out they only changed to the short song on the days I co-oped. They continued the prayer sneakily when I wasn't around. When I decided to leave the school they refused a refund and refused to allow my child to finish what we had paid for.
