What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise First Nazareth Child Development Center for its family-oriented atmosphere, dedicated long-term staff, and strong child development outcomes. Multiple reviewers report their children are excited to attend, thriving academically, and treated with genuine care and love by staff who go above and beyond their duties.
First Nazareth has been so good to my children. My daughter started at 6 weeks old. I pulled her out due to new employment opportunity and instantly regretted it. An opening was finally available back in 2023 and now both of my children attend this facility. It is very family oriented and friendly. The kids get hot meals made by one of the best cooks and I have also been receiving homework as well as progress report updates. My children are always excited to go to school and have great relationships with all staff. I would highly recommend First Nazareth CDC. Mrs. Vedders goes out of her way to purchase things students might need and personally gives each of the kids Christmas presents out of her pockets. Unlike other centers, their teacher turn over rate is very low. Many of the teachers have been there for years and enjoy watching the children grow all the way through their 4K program. Their potty training techniques are TOP TIER and my children can verbally state what they did at school on the ride home which included many activities, praises, outdoor experiences and they even offer extracurricular activities such as music in the sanctuary and dance classes.
First Nazareth Childhood Development Center is not just a daycare or a 4K program; it is a remarkable sanctuary of growth and love. From the moment my daughter entered this nurturing environment at just 10 months old, she has thrived, and now, as she prepares to graduate from the 4K class at the tender age of five, my heart swells with gratitude and pride. The incredible journey we’ve shared is a testament to the loving guidance and support she has received here. Words cannot adequately express how First Nazareth has played a pivotal role in my child's development—helping her take her first steps, teaching her to feed herself, and patiently guiding her through potty training. It has truly become our second home. The dedication of Ms. Vetter, Ms. Austin, Ms. P, Ms. B, and the entire team is nothing short of extraordinary. They have poured their hearts into their work, and the transformative impact on my daughter’s life is undeniable. By the age of two, she was spelling her name, and by three, she could astoundingly count to 75! Now, I am overjoyed to witness her beginning to read. First Nazareth has been a safe haven for us—a place where my daughter has blossomed and flourished. As graduation approaches this May, my heart is filled with bittersweet emotions; while I am sad to see her leave, I am overwhelmingly grateful for the countless tools she is taking with her, perfectly prepared for the next exciting chapter in kindergarten.
Our family has been apart of the Chid Development Center for almost six years. My children , nephew/nieces, and grandchildren. At my place of employment, we refer our clients children there as well. While no organization nor person is perfect…. First Nazareth is perfect for me and my family. Mrs. Vedder and her staff have been a blessing to us. Of course, there are times we all fall short but To Whom Much is Given , Much Will Be Demanded.
If you are a parent who relies on good communication, updates throughout the day, or how your child is developing cognitively this is not the place to go. They have horrible communication. There are times they won’t let you know they’re going to be open or let you know 15min before they open. My son is a vegetarian and they said they can’t accommodate nor can I bring food due to others potentially being allergic or jealous! What two year old is thinking about jealously? When all I asked was to bring fruit or vegetables, not peanuts or nuts in general. They terminated my childcare because I asked them to let me know in advance if they’ll be open or not..not 15min before you open. You may mention what you need as a parent and the director will continue to make excuses or try to talk over you. Now the teachers aren’t that bad, but the way it’s run is unprofessional. If you address an issue, more times than not it will be an excuse for it and will not be resolved. Please find a center that truly works with you and your child and is willing to listen. To God be the Glory!
Definitely would not recommend this center. My son was there all of a month and a half, probably less and these people called me every single day to come get him early when he only attended 2-3 days. He’s an active 3 year old boy but i’m not sure what they expected from him calling me basically saying he’s doing too much and needs to be picked up. Out of every daycare my child has attended he’s never had these issues. We had to switch his daycares a few times because I moved around a lot. This is by far the worst daycare center. Every time i picked him up he was hungry and did not look happy. They even told me if I considered putting him on ADHD medication he could come back… my child doesn’t have ADHD and this is supposed to be a church/daycare… The first review i put up they called me immediately asking me to take it down, even accidentally left a voicemail on my phone talking whit and when I told them I heard what they said and immediately got silent. The photo I put up is how my son came home to me after having to pick him up early bc he “ran into a door”… I asked to see the footage and all of a sudden they don’t have it. I have a active child, this boy could do a backflip off the roof and still wouldn’t end up with a bloody nose. DO NOT SEND YOUR BABY HERE!
